My husband was sent to this facility to help him walk as he is unable to do so. The place is under staffed resulting in ignorance of the patients. After 2 weeks, my husband had very little physical therapy. He fell during one night which caused a bad cut above his right eye which turned into a black & blue eye socket. After two weeks, he demanded to go home. They did not give us any instructions on how to take his meds. I had to play a guessing game as to which meds to give him. I found the place to be totally unacceptable and had no good results

The care in this facility is awful. My father in law has a colostomy bag and it has broken numerous times and one time they emptied it and didn’t replace it. There has been such poor care he is now worse than when he arrived 2 weeks ago. We are removing him from this facility.

While facility is clean, CNAs are subpar. Some are caring and attentive, others rough in attitude as well as handling of patient. Nurse is on top of things but one per unit is not sufficient if you have an elderly person with cancer who needs to be handled with care. CNAs refuse to help aid walking patient to bathroom, saying "they're too busy". And food is terrible. Our mother was able to walk when she arrived, but they leave her in bed 23.5 hours a day and now she's too weak and we have to move her to another facility.

Upon admission into the facility we weren't greated by a nurse for at least 25 minutes after we arrived. The room my grandma was put into smelled like urine. They removed a catheter without authorization. I observed the nurse on duty be completely demeaning, unresponsive, and rude to patients. I would NEVER send someone I love to this facility.

I think Rancho Mirage was a comfortable, clean, and aesthetically pleasing place. All the rooms have beautiful views, either the mountains, or a beautiful courtyard. I think the staff and management were very nice. I think there should be more communication, and their nurses could be a little more attentive. It’s a great facility for rehab.

My wife is at Rancho Mirage Health and Rehabilitation Center. I think it was Country Villas before. She's been there for a month and a half. It's a skilled nursing facility. Hospice was the ticket for me to get her there and they still come in to take care of her. This is much nicer, newer and brighter compared to the one she was before. The staff are helpful but because of hospice she's not gonna need much help and attention as she gets now. She's in a room with another patient. The room itself is okay. But there's only one TV. What I like best is its cleanliness. I would probably recommend this place, its better than 9 out of 10 out there. It could be a little better but it's not a bad facility.
