Mainplace Senior Living appeared to be the cleanest, the most kept up, and most pleasant atmosphere. The hallways are wider than a hotel hallway and they are carpeted. The room that my friend moved into in the memory care has fresh carpet and paint. They provide TV, cable, and internet access in the room. The room has ample space for double occupancy. They have doctor's visits weekly, laundry services, a lady who comes in once a week to cut the hair (she charges $20 a haircut, which is a little steep), a movie room that has access to cable TV and videos, and in-room dining/group dining in the cafeteria. The staff is just excellent

The place that my father is in is Fountain Senior Assisted Living. I think it is the best deal for the money. It is very reasonable. It is clean, and we like the people. It is in a great location for us. My mom -- who is not there yet -- goes to visit my dad there. She is involved in bingo, and she loves it. It is close to all the medical offices. His doctors and stuff are close by, and the hospital is right there.
