"My mother is in Cypress Place. It's good, the owner is nice, and she met us at the door and showed us around the home. The home is very clean; it's a newer home, like they have taken care of it. Well, it looks good. We might consider it if our needs change. The rooms are pretty large and freshly painted. They have a small backyard that you could go out to, and it's almost right next to a walking path. The residents go on the walking path from time to time. There's a big living room with a TV and a nice, big kitchen. The caretakers live in the home so that there's always someone available and awake at night to meet the needs of the residents."

"I toured all the levels of care offered by The Lexington Assisted Living. I was introduced to several people along the way through the tour and I found them very personable and outgoing. The person giving the tour interacted with the residents by first name as well as with other employees. As we were walking along, she would introduce me to them. So, I found it to be a lively, friendly facility. The facility was great. They had a full range of activities. There's a monthly schedule posted all over the place of what's going on and where it would take place. They have a theater, a game room, a library, a gym, and all kinds of activity areas set up and ready to cater to one's needs."

"My Grandmothers final months were spent at Oakmont in the memory care unit. I can not speak highly enough of the staff that cared for her and others at that time. The care and compassion extended to my grandmother went beyond our expectations. The staff at Oakmont is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They not only met the physical needs of my Grandmother, but they also went above and beyond to ensure her emotional and mental well-being. The residents are also encouraged to engage in activities that promote both physical and mental health. I would highly recommend Oakmont to anyone seeking top-tier care for their loved ones. "We toured GranVida Senior Living and Memory Care. It was close to where my ex-wife lives right now. So it would be an easy place for her friends to visit her. It was big and very clean. The staff there was friendly. We didn't eat any of the food, but we looked at their menus, and the menus looked good. The structure of the building is good. The atmosphere was friendly. The rooms were okay. They're not particularly big."

"My grandmother is residing in the Blue Oak community. It is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. My grandmother is in a private room, and it is a good size for her. She doesn’t require much space anymore and due to her Dementia, so it is perfect. The home is always clean and smells good. The care team is really great. I’m always informed of everything going on regarding my grandmother’s care or even emotional state. The other nursing home my grandmother was in rarely every communicated with me , so it has been so wonderful to feel like I am on top of her care without having to chase information. I’ve toured all the communities and took the opening in Blue Oak as soon as it came up because I knew the care would be great as long as this was the team that cared for her. I cared more about placing my grandmother in the place where they they will treat and care for her well, rather than a larger facility which may be larger and has amenities but with not much care. Everyone’s needs are different in different stages in life, but I’m thankful for placing her in Blue Oak. Don’t hesitate to place our loved ones here. They will be in the kindest and most compassionate setting with great care "

"It was an agonizing decision to place my husband, George, into memory care, I had promised him I never would. When my health declined, it became clear that I wouldn't be able to keep that promise. After a state-wide search, I found Regency Palms and I knew it was the home for him. When I moved him in, they allowed me to spend the first two days with him. I saw how staff treated the residents, how their days were structured and what mealtime was like. My fear was George would be terrified, not knowing where he was and feeling abandoned. A week after the move I was talking to him (they allow landlines in the rooms, $15 a month) and he wanted to get off the phone so he could hang out with his friends on the patio! "We're interested in the Sage Mountain Senior Living. I love Sage Mountain. It's beautiful. The people there are so nice. They're so understanding and they were very thorough with all my questions. They're always there if I have a question and need to call them; the communication is fantastic. Everything there was clean, it's new, and very accommodating. When you walk in it, you just get a friendly vibe right away. It's a place where I definitely would put my mom and feel comfortable knowing she's safe. When I did meet there and take a tour, I was given some samples of some pumpkin bread, and everything was fantastic, fresh, tasty, very clean. I would definitely recommend the food."

"I toured Laurel Heights. It was very modern, clean, and very nice, but it's just too far. The size of the rooms was medium and could have been larger. I like the balcony in the independent living apartment. The kitchen was a full kitchen. They had a washer and dryer. The living room and the bedroom were medium-sized, but it's OK. It was like an apartment. They had a library, a dining room, and an exercise room. The coordinator who gave us the tour was very informative. They had a theater, too."
