Disappointed

This place is terrible and has been cited numerous times, like every year. Go look them up! The workers do not ensure health and safety guidelines for patients are being followed and they do not care about the residents. The owner decides who she will speak to and allows other people to speak on behalf of the facility to not let family members visit. The facility does not follow visitation and patient rights. My parent has not been fed properly in a few days per hospice, and the workers, and no one else noticed.

We went to the Guiding Hands. The person was very concerned about doing a good job, that I would be happy there, and she was caring. The administrator, whoever, or the owner was there to talk to me. She probably runs it, too. It's very clean. It's very nice, but there's Jack and Jill bathrooms. There's two doors. There's a door on your side, and a door on the other side, and another hall. Well, you have to be aware, because you'd have to unlock the door, you have to lock both doors, and you have to unlock both doors. You really don't have your own bedroom. You don't have your own bath, and so it's for a person who was bedridden, or has dementia, or something like that who would benefit there. I think she's just opening up because there were two people there out of six. She's working to get her place occupied.
