I ONCE VISITED A FRIEND AT THIS FACILITY PRE-PANDEMIC. THE BUILDING LOOKS MUCH BETTER OUTSIDE. SEEMS WELCOMING, AND BREEZY WHEN I VISITED. THE STAFF WHO GREETED ME WAS VERY PLEASANT AND ACCOMMODATING. SHE SAID IF I EVER NEED ANYTHING,TO STOP BY AT HER OFFICE. MY VISIT WAS PLEASANT. MY FRIEND LIKED IT THERE. BUT UNFORTUNATELY HAD PASSED AWAY SHORTLY AFTER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NURSING HOME FOR YOURSELF OR A LOVE ONE. THEY HAVE IN-HOUSE REHAB SERVICES AND A 24-HR NURSING SERVICES.

My brother is in View Park Convalescent Center and it's horrible. I want to get him out of there. All they have been doing is lying him in the bed. They didn't give him the proper care that he needed to rehabilitate. He should have been at least on his feet right now, and that is frustrating. When you go to View Park Convalescent Center, the first thing you do is check the smell. It's always got a fragrance, but it is a place where people have to use the restroom by themselves in diapers and stuff. The people that work there try to be on their best behavior when they're dealing with the public, but for the most part it's what they do when you're not there. My brother sits and his diapers are full of mess when we come in there. He's supposed to be there for rehab and he doesn't have a place to stay right now because of the place he was in. He'd been down so long. He loses his place to live because of his long rehabilitation. They've got space but everybody got stuck in the room.

I was there to visit a relative and the very nice receptionist allowed me to go back to my uncle's s room. The smells and sounds were horrible. . I thought I was haunted house that hadn't been cleaned in years. Cluttered hallways and no nurses as patients walking around like they were lost. I couldn't take and ran back to the entrance because it was too unbearable. How is thiplace open. Does the health department ever check these places. Absolutely disgusting.

Our experience having my dad at View Park Convalescent Center was OK. When it comes to the staff, their administration seemed to be better. They were OK, although to me it seemed like they were understaffed. My dad was lucky, he only had one roommate, but most of them had three. The room itself was OK. It's kind of old and the outside looked better. It seems like they have a new administrator and they're getting ready to do some remodelling, which is good because the place looked a little dated. The food didn't seem really very pleasing, and their portions were small. I was told they could always get more. This was a skilled community, and they had activities, like bingo, puzzles, singing, movies, and then they have worship services on Sundays. We paid through Medicare.
