My mother was in Alexandria Care Center, it was really bad. People were screaming, there was a lot of COVID, and it had a very bad smell there. The location of the facility had a lot of homeless people in that area, and there was no parking. They put her bed up against the wall, and there was a window and an apartment building where the people could look inside, and there were no rails. She was not well-taken care of. They put her across from the nurse's station, but still, nobody would take care of her. When you went into the rooms towards the back, the smell was terrible. They had redecorated the front area, but deep inside it was really bad. They couldn't keep it clean. They were short on staff and they couldn't help us, it was depressing. They have no activities for the residents.

A new rules was put into effect without notification I was denied visitation the staff was very secretive about their titles and wouldn’t share info about title and picture of badge. I asked many question without any answers

I have been here nearly 3 years. It's been much better than i expected. i share a room with one other patient. With my curtains closed i have complete privacy. The rooms are clean. There is some space for private property. Not much. Staff is respectful, cordial, and highly skilled. They are quick to answer call lights but otherwise leave us to ourselves. There are activities available but i choose not to participate. The food is not always fanciful but it's always warm and on time and there is enough of it.. I'm very grateful to have found this place at this stage of my life.

My brother is in Alexandria Care Center. I have no complaint at all at this point. It's a very nice facility. I'm pleased with what I've see so far. They're better than a lot of places that I've seen. They seem to have a very good activities program. My brother does not participate in them at this time, but what I've seen is very good. Their facilities are excellent.

I was in rehab at Alexandria Care Center. It was OK, except that the food was really bad. I shared a room with another patient, and it was very clean. It seemed to me that most of the people were old; they didn’t have any teeth and were given poor food, so most of them complained. The staff people were very good. The CNA’s worked very hard and were very pleasant, and they were all my friends. They were nice and very patient.
