My mom has Dementia and it was really tough on our part to take care of her. It was not easy at all that's why we decided to bring her to Redwoods Care Home. She has someone who's looking after her every now and then checking everything with her. I must say they are all doing a great job and making sure she's doing okay. We are hoping to bring her home sometime so we can just hire a private nurse so that we can always see her.

I have toured this home and it is absolutely not appropriate for people with dementia. It does not have the appropriate care staff or oversight. The building is not well kept and the smell of smoke is everywhere along with people who are smoking out side on the porch and in the living area.This would not be a good place for any senior who needs care of any kind.
