My stepmom was at Windcrest Health and Rehab for two months. It was for long-term care. It was very clean and very well run. The people were very friendly. The only drawback was, my stepmom had to have a roommate. For some people that doesn't matter, but for my stepmom, she did not like it. There was no choice in that though. They had activities every day and they worked with my stepmother as well as one can with dementia. The administrative people were very good and very helpful. They had a common area there. They had a lovely garden area that they would take them out to, once a day. My stepmom especially liked it because she liked being outside. The staff was awesome.

I have seen the exceptional care that EVERYONE provides to these residents; from the Nursing Supervisors to the housekeepers. They are a team that has one purpose and that is to provide top care to those who enter their doors. The facility is older but you can not judge a book by the cover... they are better than many of the newer facilities I have been in in the past. When I see my friend, who lives at Windcrest Health & Rehab, she is always smiling and knows she is safe and feels at home. She loves the staff and other residents.

I brought my grand dad here i was originally concerned with the age of the building but the staff to him in and gave him the love and care he needed up until the day he passed of natural causes. They always went above and beyond to ensure he had all the things he needed even when our finances would not allow us to get the items for him they always found a way. The staff have been there for a long time (most of them) they are very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

This was a terrible place, my spouse went there and in about 10 days he was onto Hospice. He had a pain patch on and in a day it was gone and they said he picked it off. But there is no way he could have reached it, I could not have. They let him pretty much lay there and naked about except for underwear. DId not help him and or see that he had eaten. I would not take a mouse to these people, so please do you!

I visited Windcrest the other day, just to see what it had, and it seemed very nice. I looked at the rooms and the general area. It did seem really nice, the people were very friendly, and there seemed to be a good ratio of staff to patients. If I live in Springdale, I would put my wife there, too. The residents seemed comfortable. The staff was good and seemed to be doing their jobs.

In our situation this facility is a 5 star. The people go over the top to help out yet give out loved one the privacy he craves. We toured several others that my brother said was too Hoty toty, The best thing was though the facility is not a brand new one. It was very clean and very nice and a third of the price of the others. He is loving it, and oh yes a must for us he gets to keep his dog!
