Memory Care:

At Hummingbird Senior Resort Living, our memory care community has dedicated home-like apartments for our residents with Alzheimers, other types of dementia. Our memory care in Sierra Vista program focuses on getting to know our residents and their histories as well as the details of their lives so we can help create the most pleasant environment possible for them as individuals. Our clinical team is dedicated to maintaining the dignity and individuality of every resident. At Hummingbird Senior Resort Living, our memory care in Sierra Vista focuses on maintaining the quality of life for memory care residents. Hummingbird Senior Resort Living requires all staff members to complete the Dementia Capable Care training program, which meets the Alzheimers Association dementia programming criteria. We develop a specialized Dementia Care Plan for each resident that includes the residents history, preferences, hobbies, and ability level to develop care and social strategies for each individual resident. As care needs change, our dedicated staff will be there to assist.
