The staff was always friendly to me as a visitor, however I am young. Whenever I would go out to the "exercise yard" it would just be depressing. It was essentially a concrete garden inside the center. The center was built like a donut, and the outside area was in the hole. The elderly people all looked lonely and sad. It was as though nobody was even bothering to pay them any attention. I'm sure their basic needs were being met, but I never saw any bonding of any kind. The facilities reminded me of a public school. They weren't 5 star accommodations, but they certainly weren't living in poverty either.
