"I went to look here. The apartments were very spacious. I enjoyed the tour. The staff showed me a studio and a one-bedroom, and they were both very nice. The studio is a little bit small because I also have two dogs that live with me, so it would be kind of cramped with the two dogs. The one bedroom would probably work out a little bit better, so I could have a bedroom and a living room area. They accept pets here. They have appliances in their studio and one-bedroom apartments. You don't need to bring anything with you. They have three meals a day. They have plenty of activities, so you don't get bored. They have a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a sink. The bathroom is very nice. The person who took me around was the director, and she was very knowledgeable. During the tour, if I had questions, she would answer them."

"My friend has lived in Villa Vista for about a month and a half. Every time I visit, they are very helpful, very polite, and answer all of my questions. I toured about four times before I made a decision, and they were always willing to have me look around. It's very clean, and they have activities that I’ve participated in. My friend seems content there in a private room. They have a really nice courtyard and activities going on all of the time. They encourage her to participate, too. I think they have been really helpful. "

The nursing staff, who is 24/7 was very prompt and thankfully very patient with us as we asked our slew of questions. Teresa M from the therapy department was amazing and the fact that there's tailored therapy plans for each resident is a blessing. We were reluctant to use an assisted facility for my loved one's rehabilitation, but we couldn't have chosen a safer and more proactive team! Our whole family highly recommends Life Care and we will for eternity!"

"My wife is at Caring Hearts, and so far everything is OK. They're good. We're still becoming familiar with all the different things and it is a learning process. The food is good. My wife is really not capable of being in a whole bunch of activities, but we are getting some physical therapy for her. She has a room with a shower, with a closet, dresser, and a TV."

"The staff was always friendly to me as a visitor, however I am young. Whenever I would go out to the "exercise yard" it would just be depressing. It was essentially a concrete garden inside the center. The center was built like a donut, and the outside area was in the hole. The elderly people all looked lonely and sad. It was as though nobody was even bothering to pay them any attention. I'm sure their basic needs were being met, but I never saw any bonding of any kind. The facilities reminded me of a public school. They weren't 5 star accommodations, but they certainly weren't living in poverty either. "
