My mom is settled at Via Elegante Luxury Assisted Living. I like that it is all-inclusive and that they are very attentive to her routine and schedule, and keeping her up-to-date with her daily activities. Their staff is wonderful. They have plenty of things for the residents to do. They have sing-alongs, bingo, and crafts, and they bring animals in for them to hang out with. They provide 3 meals a day that are very good, and not too much but not too little. Because it's memory care, they are very attentive to all the residents in making sure that their hygiene needs are met. And if they need to get out of the facility to do appointments outside, they can arrange rides and handle all that. They do almost everything for you. I know she's in good hands with them. They are very attentive and they do exactly what they say they're going to do. They do it with tact and they're just so good. There are some sweet people there. Every day, scheduled meals are out on time and are nutritious home-cooked meals. All your food groups, they got everything covered.

If you or your family member needs a home with assistance you have found the perfect place. My mother is living here and is so happy with everything Via Elegante has to offer. The home is kept very clean and the staff is excellent. My mother doesn’t have memory issues and has found a home that has a mixture of residents she can interact with. She told me that she has more of a social life than I do! The food is very good and such a variety. As for the staff it is first class! Each individual is treated with such respect and dignity and every need is addressed on an individual basis. My sister and I could not believe what a wonderful place this would be for our mom. The activity director is wonderful and provides a very wide range of things to entertain the residents. The director and staff are so helpful and are able to provide much needed information in your making a decision for yourself or loved one. One other thing my mom says is that she feels like she is on a cruise ship where everything one could want or need is cared for.

Via Elegante Luxury Assisted Living was very nice. I liked it. It's one level and basically they have three or four living areas that have a group of apartments. There's one group that's a little more expensive than the group next to it. They're divided according to the type of apartment that they have. The person who assisted me was good. Each home has 14 apartments and each of them has their own dining area. They can come in anytime they want to and use the dining area, which it looked very nice and very convenient, which was the one thing I liked. They had a very nice, well kept up kitchen. However, there was one house that had an odor that wasn't good, and I wasn't real impressed with the community bathrooms. My mom would've wanted to have her own bathroom, but the bathrooms were shared there.

Via Elegante Luxury Assisted Living was very beautiful. They had bigger rooms for the people. The person who showed me around was very nice. The dining area looked fine. However, I thought it was outrageously expensive, and their rooms were really small.

Via Elegante is very nice and clean. I feel it could be a good possibility. The guy who runs it was very helpful and described all the different features available. Overall, it was nice, and my impression was very good. There were people in the courtyard walking and exercising. Everything just seemed very nice.

Via Elegante Assisted Living was wonderful, but the rooms were not big and private. I loved that it is a modern facility. The boss was the one who assisted us during our visit, and he was really nice. The staff that we met seemed to be very pleasant. I am giving them a four-star rating because of the room size.
Provider Response
Thanks for the review. With respect to our room sizes, our philosophy is to encourage people to enjoy the company of the other residents and the entire home and property and not remain in their room all day. The social interaction is therapeutic for most people and the rooms are more than adequate for sleeping and having privacy when desired. We also have Signature Rooms, which are larger. It is possible that we did not have a larger room available to show you on the tour.

I visited Via Elegante Assisted Living, and the place was nice, but I didn’t care for the rooms. Their rooms don’t have showers in the bathroom or a closet. Their dining room was large, and the staff was playing games with the other resident, but I just didn’t get a warm feeling.
Provider Response
Via Elegante offers private rooms with private bathrooms for each room. Each private bathroom has a sink and toilet. Some of our rooms have private bathrooms that have a sink, toilet and a shower. We do have large showers available for residents to privately use, if they do not have a shower in their private bathroom. All of our rooms have large private closets. It is possible that the review was written by someone that did not have an opportunity to see all of our rooms that have showers in the bathroom and also recognize that all of our rooms have closets. Floor plans for all 3 of our homes can be found on our website at www.viaelegante.com. As Managing Partner of this amazing community, I am encouraged and not surprised that the reviewer observed that our staff was engaged with our residents. Our environment is unique and allows for residents to feel at home in our homes. I'm sorry that the reviewer did not get a warm feeling when they toured but I can tell you that our environment is loving, caring, engaging and friendly.

Via Elegante was a very nice place, very clean, and very well laid out with good security. The manager was a very sweet, knowledgeable woman. I personally know the chef, and the food was very good. They had basically three wings, one is for Alzheimer's and severe dementia, another one is for people who can get around but need more help, and another wing for independent. They had a room where they could go and watch TV. They had activities planned throughout the day. They had a bus that took them to places, and they're associated with a couple of doctors in town. They were telling me that the owner is planning on making a hydroponic garden and fish pond. They had some good visions for the place.

Via Elegante was brand new. The staff was fine. The rooms were nice because they were new, but they were too small. We saw the bedrooms, and we knew right away this would never be for us. It looked nice, clean, and well lit. I loved this place; I liked the newness, and it looked clean. What we didn't like was it was just had bedrooms -- you couldn't get an apartment -- but the rest of it was fine.
