I'm a double amputee, and so it's wonderful getting help around the house. I would struggle a lot if I wasn't getting care. I have talked to several friends at other places to see what they're using, and I feel like I'm getting fantastic care. They treat us well over here!

The company told me that the caregiver would probably be able to take the dogs for a walk, and things like that. She gave me the impression that she didn't really care much for dogs, and so she didn't help us out in that way. We have just had them come out one time at this point. I am kind of confused on what she can and can't do to help us out around the house. They need to tell us more about what kind of care the caregiver can provide, and if they can help around the house.

The girl we have now cooks, but she doesn't know how to work with people who are starting to have dementia. She doesn't have the ability of training she needs to make him feel like a person and then a patient. It is very good. Some caregivers do more than others. Some of them do more than what is listed in the program and others do the bare minimum. Their scheduling and billing department needs to improve. The schedulers sometimes call to ask if they can send a different person. Sometimes I say yes and sometimes I say no, but it seems like they don't get in touch with accounting, so I get charged extra.

I would recommend Right at Home depending on the kind of care. My husband just needed more care. I didn't feel that the service was as good as it should have been. We are using Right at Home for my parents. I have someone come in once a week. The caregiver has done a terrific and tremendous job. For one day, she comes in and makes sure that my dad has a shower and is shaved. She also does laundry and other things that my mom can't do. It has been very beneficial. My mom is not the easiest person to please, but she is very happy with the caregiver. Also, they have a website that I'm able to go into and read her notes every week. There had been a concern or two, but they called me and discussed it with me. We have the billing set up where it is automatically taken from my parents' checking account because my mom is having problem with paying bills. It is so much better. I'm extremely satisfied with Right at Home.

The caregiver from Right at Home Snohomish County does a very good job. I don't have any complaints at all. He is on time, cordial, and courteous, and filled out his paperwork like he is supposed to. My husband really likes him, and that’s the important. He works with him. My husband loves to go for a ride, but I’m so tired and I can’t do it. The caregiver takes him wherever he wants to go; it works out wonderfully. Right at Home is great. So far, I haven’t had any problems. When I call them with a question, they’re very cordial and willing to work with me.

Right at Home does it ALL right! When we needed sudden and immediate help for our aging (and difficult!) father this summer, Right at Home provided a wide variety of high quality services and excellent, ongoing advice. This team provided compassion, competence, efficiency and service which exceeded any expectations. You can't do better than this organization.

We used Right at Home for my mom. They did a very good job. They're very prompt. If they had to send a new person, one of the directors would come with that person to make sure that they were well addressed as to what to do and to get any new information from me about changes in my mom's condition. They're very responsible, and they make sure that their caregivers knew what to do. The girls were very always prompt. They were very kind. They knew that they had to work with mom, and they were very successful doing that. They seemed to know how to work with someone that might be a little bit confused. Sometimes seniors do want to say no to strangers, particularly when it comes to helping them in the bathroom, but there's ways around that, and they seemed to know how to do that. They seemed to be better trained. They're very professional. They're easy to work with. If I had questions about the bill, I had no problem talking to them. They were very respectful, and that worked well. They did a very good job.
