I think that the helpfulness depends on the individual. Some are alright and some are pretty good. Some of the caregivers need improvement. In the beginning is was a very good experience. They were energetic and motivated. It hasn't been good lately. They know what to do, and they need to do it.

They are very attentive and the aide walks in and starts working. I am very comfortable with them and with my aide. She understands me and if my aide cannot come I do not want someone else. She is never late.

I have problems standing, so a lot of the things that require standing, like cooking or cleaning, is where she is helping me most. I seem to only have a legal problem for them not to be able to provide all services I expected, with the liability problems. I want someone who can go on shopping runs and to the post office.

The caretaker was late several times, and several times the caregiver would just not show up. Their employees were not dependable, and when we got a dependable person, the office staff couldn't find us another person to replace her.

They need professional caregivers who know what they are doing. The caregivers need to be trained on how to take care of the elderly who are bed bound. They should know how to bathe a person and talk to them. They need to learn how to change bed linens. They have totally unqualified people. They didn't know how to handle my loved one who couldn't get out of bed. I wrenched my back and was out for 6 weeks and they sent the same person back twice.

During the time of service did you connect with our Home Health Director or Office Administrator about these concerns? These are serious issues, and I would like to ensure that we address them properly to ensure that going forward all clients can be completely satisfied, and that our service are delivered safely. I have some issues with them sending so many new people, that makes it different. They change every person every one or two days. Most of the employees are responsible, courteous, and considerate. Some are not up to par but that's how it goes.

Having someone around saves me from falling and I get to take Care Advantage van to a wounded. I would tell a friend that I have no complaints about the service. I have trouble falling and I was going up the stairs once and my caregiver put her hand up and caught me.

The caregiver thought that my loved one had fallen, but the cell phone went out. The caregiver called the police to see if they can make sure if he had fallen. The caregiver called me when I was at the hospital. I like that they took initiative in investigating more with my loved one. The caregiver is good with helping out.

I am on a level 1, and I do most things for myself, but my caregiver mostly grocery shops for me. My caregiver is a very nice lady and easy to get a long with. If she can't show, I will get a call, and they will let me know. There is no problem with the office.

The caregiver is very faithful and very attentive to my mother. The caregiver is very helpful and we have been pleased. The caregiver helps my mom with physical needs like foot washing and keeping her oxygen concentrate clean. They cook meals and check her sugar.

Care Advantage could improve by paying the caregivers more so they'll do what they're supposed to do. The caregivers tell us they aren't paying much. Care Advantage could have made things easier for my loved one by having the same caregiver come here.

We have also made changes to our on-boarding process in an effort to better prepare caregivers for the delivery of service. Care Advantage actually showed up and they are very nice. The caregivers are considerate of me and very professional. The first two caregivers were something I desperately needed. They stayed at night time for me, and one would come back for the day which was very commendable.

I would recommend Care Advantage because the caregivers they send are pretty good, but they always send me different ones. I like that they always send me caregivers on the weekends. However, some of them will do nothing until I tell them what to do. And some of them are on their cell phones or watch my television. Care Advantage makes life easier by coming in and doing things that are too hard for me to do.

I would recommend Care Advantage because my mom and sister have been pleased with the service. For the short time that my mom's been receiving care, it's helped her some. The caregiver does light housekeeping and has gone to the store for her and that's been a big help.

If a friend had a serious case which required a lot of retention, it stands to have a little bit more attention than what Care Advantage can provide. I'm able to do a lot for myself, but if it were a case with a caregiver that I've had before, I don't know if they could do everything they would need. I don't have a caregiver every day of the week. I once had a caregiver who just slept through her shift on my recliner. If my caregiver is going to be sitting there snoring, I don't want to go and wake her up because I don't think she will do a good job anyways.

I would call Care Advantage a month and a half in advance to ensure that a caregiver would be available for my daughter, and one time they said that they forgot. I had the name and date of who I spoke with too. I never had a consistent caregiver, and my daughter's care is very specialized, so I would have to take off of work to train these people. It came to the point where I could just work from home and save money. I was having to stay at home and wait for the caregiver and train them. I didn't feel that they could perform simple tasks of transferring my daughter to her wheelchair. I was not impressed with the skill level of the caregivers that were sent to us.

We've been using Care Advantage since December. It is a Medicaid approved healthcare provider. We interviewed some of the caregivers and chose one. My grandmother is 96 years old. It's the same caregiver that would come in all the time, and she's really good.
