I am very sorry about it taking so long to find a permanent caregiver. It is very frustrating for us also. We really want to send only one person but I admit it has been hard finding caregivers who are willing to work/stay. I am hoping things will go ack to normal soon. In the office we do everything we can to entice caregivers to work. Raises, bonuses, benefits, flexible schedule but we can not make people work a case when they do not want to work. I am so glad you have a good caregiver now.

I am sorry that this event happened. Regarding the caregivers, we want to send the same one each time (many times we do); however caregivers have to be a good fit for the client. Sometimes this is not the case and changes have to be made for the safety and welfare of both the caregiver and the client. We do a thorough nationwide background check upon hire and annually checking their background, checking sex offender registry, driving record, SAMS and OIG status (Terrorist list and to see if they are barred from working in healthcare). We appreciate you providing this information.
