I had a Total Knee Replacement and left the hospital on a Friday night. The Home Health company was suppose to come to my house on Saturday at 7:30 pm to discuss in home Physical Therapy and do an evaluation. The representative did not show or call. I called the number I had and was unable to leave a message as the mailbox was full. I received a call from the representative on Sunday asking if I had called that number the day before and who was I. I explained and he stated that he was stuck at another job on Saturday and was unable to come out but will be there on Sunday at 7:30 pm. Again, no show no call. I received a call from him and he came out to do the intial evaluation on Monday. They were very disorganized and were flinging papers all over the coffee table. After his evaluation he stated he would have the Physical Therapist come out and evaluation me and then set up and schedule the visits. I did not hear from anyone until Thursday (almost a week after being home) and the therapist came out to do the initial PT Eval. He spent 15 minutes looking for a sign in sheet that was not in my chart folder (no wonder there were papers all over the place so unorganized on Monday) and then took my blood pressure. He asked me to walk and he watched and stated I was doing good. Yes folks, that was it. That was the PT EVal. He stated he would have someone come out next week to start the therapy. Dont use this company, number 1 they do not keep any promises on scheduling visits, number 2, I dont think they sent a licensed PT to evaluate me, and number 3 when I called to called they said they didnt care, that it was okay I was leaving. So Unprofessional.
