I have a wonderful caregiver from Senior Helpers, but the other ones from there were not so good. This caregiver is outstanding and does more than about twice as much as anybody else. It has nothing to do with Senior Helpers; it's just the caregiver herself. Otherwise, the agency is just a plain, run-of-the-mill caregiving service. There's only one caregiver who does what this woman does. The others just sit and watch TV and don't help with cooking, cleaning, and other things. My caregiver comes in, thoroughly vacuums the whole house, washes the floors in the whole house, cleans the breakfast dishes, takes my mother to the toilet, prepares the noon meals, and does the laundry for mother. The management insists on getting their money ahead of time, so they withdraw the money directly from Mom's bank account even before the service is done. This agency needs to have more trained people that are responsible because my weekend caregivers are not responsible.

They have provided us with mostly qualified care givers. However we do find them to a bit unresponsive to our requests and feedback.
