My mother used Guardian in the spring of 2015 when she was at my sister's house. They had someone coming out there for six hours a week to help with personal care, and then when she came back to my house, we had them for nine hours. I liked the girls they sent her very much. They were very competent and very kind. When she was at my sister's house, the girl from Guardian would give her her showers, clean up her room, change her sheets, and stuff like that. When she came to my house and they were here, because at that point she was very unsteady on her feet, I just really wanted them to be with her every time she got up and moved around, help her with lunch or stuff like that. And that if I needed them to change her sheets or something, they were here. For me, at my house, mostly it was keeping an eye on her and keeping her safe. I didn't care for a lot of housekeeping or anything like that; I just really wanted them to make sure that she was safe.
