Capital Homecare is a small company with a heart. They're small enough that each patient matters and yet they still offer full service including nursing, aids, physical and occupational therapy, etc... I've been a patient of Capital Homecare for several years now and I have been very impressed. My nurse, Renee, has gone out of her way to help me on many occasions. She is very conscientious and always goes the extra mile to make sure I am as healthy as possible. When she noticed I was having a harder time walking she saw to it that I got physical therapy. When I was having bathroom problems she worked with my doctor and insurance company to increase my aid visits. My doctor's office is overbooked and often isn't overly responsive or proactive regarding my needs. The staff at Capital Homecare have always advocated for me and made sure that my doctors do what needs done. My nurse, Renee, has spoken with my insurance company directly on several occasions in order to coordinate my care and to ensure my needs are met. The aids at Capital Homecare are good people. They are hard working and will do anything for you. They are worth far more than their pay. Once I was released from the hospital late in the evening. I called Capital Homecare's main number expecting to leave a voicemail message letting them know I had been released. Instead a nurse answered the phone. At 11 pm. I was amazed. I would definitely recommend Capital Homecare to friends or family who needed home health services. They're good people and a good company.

I was a patient of this agency. The nursing staff was horrible. They never showed up for the visit and did not take my pills that day. I called the office, and all I got was a rude person. I did switch to another agency. I will never tell any of my friends about this agency. There as a nurse named tamara anmd she was rude and snapped at me.
