My mother in law had a severe stroke at the age of 50. Helping Hands came in to the home and provided excellent care for her while most of us worked during the day. She received skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and a home health aide daily. Due to the care that was provided my mother in law gained full usage back of both of her legs in which we were unsure if that would even happen. The home health aide came in daily and ensured she ate all meals, cleaned her areas, provided personal care and many other things. Communication was great, they came on time, and if any discrepancies in the schedule happened they always informed the family. We are beyond grateful for the care provided by Helping Hands and would highly recommend them for your loved one.

I was a client and they were a nightmare. I would never suggest them to anyone. The aids were lazy, would complain of their arthritis, so they didn't have to work. Preyed on me for gasoline money. I mean I feel sorry for them, but if they don't like the pay they should never accept the job. The worst problem was their schedulers. They won't give you a schedule to let you know when your aids will be there. They were verbally abusive and refused to let me speak to the owner to let her know what they were doing. I would fire them all, if I owned that place. Since then I've met someone else who is blind & in a wheelchair & they said the same thing about Helping Hands being abusive. So, I'm not the only one. And I believe all of these reviews. It's a disgrace to abuse the sick & elderly the way they do.

Helping Hands healthcare is an amazing home care company. They were there for my grandparents when they need extra help that my family and myself could not give them. They were a true blessing. Everyone has staffing issues from time to time, we understood that and Helping Hands healthcare worked with us to figure out what worked best for everyone. It rested my mind to know they were getting great professional.

Absolutely no trust with this place. Always somebody different sometimes will be a random office worker who acts as if they were being bothered clearly showing they are understaffed. While trying to fold quality care for my mom I was built up this high quality care from helping hands but it was absolutely awful. My mom was more unhappy knowing they were coming than when we found out our person quit or just wasn't showing up.

Provider does not show up. When they do show up, they do not perform the duties that are required. They never stay the entire 2 hours.

We are using Helping Hands for my mom. It took them a couple of weeks to provide us with someone. There have been a lot of times when the caregiver did not show up or was not on time. I am not very happy with the agency. My mother used to go to church, but she can no longer do so because we can't get a provider in early enough to get her dressed so that she can catch the bus and make it in time. She has missed three doctor's appointments because the caregivers were never there on time. They need to be more organized and give better training to their people.

I did comparison between Helping Hands and the other agencies that were listed, and for the most part they ranked pretty high as far as services that they provide as well as being the highest in response as far as how the customers value their services. It is the third week of providing the service, and it is going OK. It is good, and right now we requiring a specific type of service from them; they are working to accommodate us.
