She has Alzheimer's so hard to get feedback from her, but they help out a lot of being there when we can't be there. That being said, I would like them to take her out and do physical things with her more. I like the people there and the activity level with the caregivers. They are well-trained to fit with people and hang out with them.

When I ask questions, they can't do anything because they haven't been trained to do it.

Some of them are CNAs, and my loved one is incontinent, so they do all of that work. They feed him, give him bed baths, and follow whatever instructions I give. They are reliable, and they are good workers.

I have had to call multiple times to pay bills. They kept calling me about not paying them. I then sent them copies. Some of the girls have done really, really well with helping me. I cannot expect everyone to cook, especially when they ask how to crack an egg, so that does not bug me. I have had problems. A number of girls have been light-fingered. I have a lot of things that have gone missing after they left. It was not until I went to use some pearls that I had left out on my dresser that I realized those were gone. I then found them a few days later in my entertainment center and the clasp was broken.

I kept getting different people. It would be better if they send the same people every time. I had one caregiver that was supposed to stay for the night and she fell asleep. The same caregiver didn't know how to use a bladder catheter and spilled and left the mess.

Compassionate Home Care do not follow through with the care plan at all, and they were supped to watch a monitor to make sure that she did not get up and walk around. There were multiple times when I found my loved one walking around the house. I was still providing the care for my grandmother while they were there.

My loved one tells the girl that she loves her when she leaves, but from my observation I would like for the caregivers to keep her active, and interact with her for the whole day to take care of her patient.

I told Compassionate Home Care twice before that one of the caregivers came in and was watching TV in the living room, and kept my family up all night. When I told the office staff member, she was more concerned with how close she was to my parents. I don't think the impact from the services was negative. I think my loved one was emotionally uncomfortable, but physically was safe.

My uncle liked Compassionate Home Care because they were the cheapest. I did like the nurse that was in-charge of everything. She was very personable and she understood our concerns. The caregivers basically made meals, monitored his oxygen, helped with bathing, and with medication. The people that would come in during the day were a good match. But they had too many different people coming in, and it was like a different person every night. My aunt has dementia and it was difficult for her to keep having strangers in the house. Compassionate Care guaranteed that they would be sending out the same three or four people all the time. They said that's the way it would be and then it wasn't.
