Mom moved into TerraBella Hendersonville. It's very clean, bright, and cheerful. She's in assisted living now, but we're waiting for a bed in memory care. The room is nice and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. The dining area is very bright and clean, and it's a cheerful atmosphere. It's not a down type of atmosphere. It's very cheerful. We're still discovering the activities, but they have movies and singing. It's a good value.

I visited TerraBella Hendersonville. They have a memory care unit, but they also offer assisted living, which is what I looked at. I was very impressed by it, especially it's not that long after a hurricane. When you come into the place, it's very open and airy. The residents interacted with each other very casually, you could tell they were comfortable there. They sort of looked out for each other. I liked the fact that everything was on one level and that also applied to the outdoors. They had a very nice sitting and walking and gardening area, but it was all on one level, so you could easily go wherever you wanted to go, which is very important to a lot of people. All the staff I interacted with had plenty of time for my visit. I don't have any reason to give it a bad rating, and everything I had was positive.

I had a good experience with TerraBella Hendersonville, but I didn't choose that facility because they didn't have any openings in their memory care unit. I did tour the assisted living. It looked like a small, well-attended unit. The rooms were nice and well sized and the price was reasonable. I went there on a weekend, and the chef allowed me to tour the facility, and there was one of the nursing staff on the unit. The place looked very well-updated, in good shape and clean. I know they had a salon.

TerraBella Hendersonville was very nice. It was kept up well, and the layout was good. We didn't have any problem with it at all except for the cost. It was a little bit more than we wanted to pay. The staff who gave the tour was great. She was probably our favorite of all the ones we met with. We checked the dining area out, but we didn't eat anything. For activities, they had craft things, played games, and had people come in to sing and stuff like that.

I liked TerraBella Hendersonville. It was a little more than what I needed. One of the things that I liked about it, that it puts near the top of my list, was that they had a good respite program and that if I decided to stay there for a long term, I would get caretakers who would be assigned to me for as long as they were working there, so I wouldn't have to retrain a helper every time I needed help. For me, that was a big selling point. The spaces were small to give it a more homey atmosphere, but there were plenty of spaces and the indoor spaces were all very lovely and accommodating for wheelchair/walker use despite of its smaller rooms. They were not apartments, but they were very nice rooms. They had a library. They were all very well kept, very nice, and extremely clean.

We toured Terra Bella Hendersonville. It was clean. There were some motors in the hallways, which is something we look for when we go into a facility. Not bad, but it was still present. It was a little hospital-like. It didn't have a warm home, or cozy feeling to it. Their rooms were adequate. We only were able to view a shared studio. We saw the model that was set up. That wasn't an option for us. A one-bedroom private bath, the costs were beyond our abilities. We only met with one individual there. Amanda was very informative, very professional, and had no issues with how she handled the meeting. Everything was fine as far as that goes. I did see some residents. We walked into where they were playing a game, a table game. They weren't exactly the happiest crowd in the world. Now, for whatever reason, they weren't smiley. They weren't cordial and friendly. I have no idea why that's the case.

I visited TerraBella Hendersonville. They have a lot of social and cognitive activities. They have some activities where they take the seniors away from the building and go to different places at least once a week. They have a lot of crafts. They serve them breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a dining room like restaurant-style. They come by their table, ask them what they want to drink, and ask them what they want to eat. It's like you're going to a restaurant every day. It's very well laid out and there's not a lot of people. They have built up their team to where the nurses and CNA staff are their employees. They're not hiring out for those positions so residents get to know them, and they won't get confused with new people coming to their rooms. The only negative I have is just the price, and there's no way my parents could afford it. They have a great outdoor area to do some gardening. They have a little walkway so that seniors can walk around out there. It's very nice.

Our tour at TerraBella Hendersonville was very positive. Amanda did an excellent job of fielding my questions. We found that if my father needed to move to an assisted care situation there, he would be able to have people around him, like every 2 hours, there would be somebody in the area, non-intrusively and able to just see what's going on with him. They have their own in-house medical alert system, so if he needed help in the shower or with a fall, he would have the opportunity to be immediately notified. It would be difficult for my father to move from a five-bedroom-four-and-a-half-bath home into a one-room with a bath. That would be a difficult downsizing for him, but because he could come with his own furniture, he would be able to do things according to his desires. As long as he can care for his pets, he would be able to bring his dog with him. That was a big plus for us. My dad is very unique in his eating habits. I think he would have a hard time eating the meals provided for him there, but the meals looked wonderful. There's a great variety, and they have talented chefs. I was very impressed with the possibilities, but not sure it would work for my dad. If at such time his mental capacities would not allow him to be in assisted living, there's a nice transition into memory care. We were introduced to many of the staff members, and a number of them have been there for a long time, and I like that potential continuity of care. It did feel like a family. The staff contacted me after the tour by phone to see if I had any questions and he willingly gave his time. He went above and beyond to answer my questions about insurance, not related necessarily to long-term care, but he was just very, very helpful in walking me through what needed to be done or considered and what the good questions are to be asked before considering putting a parent into assisted living. Amanda was very personable, and she let us know what she sees as strengths and weaknesses of the community. She was very open about the journey that this facility has been on, and the changes that have occurred and are in process. It made me feel like I was getting an inside view of the community. The unit was medium size. They have flexibility. Residents can bring their own bed, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. Those are all possibilities. They can arrange the room as they like. The sample room was tastefully furnished. The bathroom was very nice sized. My father, who's a very large man, would have no difficulty maneuvering. However, he is morbidly obese so I'm not sure if the seat would work for him. I sense though from the staff that they would work with whoever was coming in to make sure that things were done properly. They have an all-hands-on staff policy that says, no matter what your role is, if you see something that needs to be done, then you will do it and help. And I appreciated that they are in this together. The dining area had a community feel like people were engaging in conversation. It was very personable. They have a couple of projects going, but it was obvious that staff took their job seriously and they're doing the best they can until the renovations are complete. There were many activities posted and I looked in the rooms and I could see that they were being used, and it was up to date. Everything that was listed, it was obvious that they were doing what they say they were doing. What I like about this facility is community living. The residents are looking out for each other. It didn't feel like a nursing home. It felt more like a dormitory. People were involved. I like it.

I toured the assisted living and memory care portions of TerraBella Hendersonville. The place was nice and clean. It appeared to be well staffed. It appeared to offer a lot of activities and things that my mom could participate in. The staff was very informative and friendly. It was a good experience. They had a salon, the regular dining rooms, meeting rooms, activities, a garden area, a courtyard, and a walking path. The facilities were very good.

Our experience with TerraBella Hendersonville was very pleasant. The tour was very informative. We had a very personable and friendly and informative guide. I have nothing negative to say. I was told that there were every two-hour checks on all of the residents. We didn't see the library or the hairdresser salon, which they indicated they have. We saw a model room and we also saw a lived-in room. The model room was not roomy, but it looked adequate. The studio that we saw had two people living in it and they had twin beds in there plus several other pieces of furniture, and it was crowded and messy because they had a lot of stuff. We saw the dining room, which was lovely, clean, spacious, and roomy, and we got a sample menu. We saw a schedule of activities and we saw the activity room, which had lots of games and puzzles and tables to sit and play at and do crafts, but nobody was in there at the time we were there except the activities director. The physical community was excellent. Everything was spaced wide enough for walkers and wheelchairs and people with canes and stuff to move around. It was clean and looked very safe because they had taken out the carpeting for the most part, so there were no tripping areas. They had lots of access to the outdoors. I thought the facilities were very good.

My father is gonna go to TerraBella Hendersonville. That was the first one he saw and he liked it, and that was it. He says, "I want to be here." He liked the staff. The staff was extremely friendly. Tiffany, the director, has got an excellent reputation in the industry. It was more in a country setting and Dad liked that with the pond and everything out in the backyard. It's not on a busy street or anything like that. It was quieter. He likes peace and quiet, and he likes wildlife and stuff like that. The food was average and it's done by a dietitian. Most of the people that are in assisted living have some kind of dietary restrictions, so the food is presented with that thought in mind. It's not going to be fancy gourmet meals or anything like that, but they're nutritious. They do pretty much everything. They offer three meals a day plus three snack times, they have a little happy hour on Fridays, they do special events, and they have concierge services. They've got a shuttle that can take them to the doctors' office. They do all the laundry, all the housekeeping, pretty much everything you really want. The only thing that is not covered would be if you wanted your own cable TV. They have just basic TV. They have little outings if you want to go. They're very conscientious about upkeep and cleanliness.

My husband is at TerraBella Hendersonville. It's a very nice place. I would recommend it to anybody. They are very caring about the people that are there, and they take really good care of them. My husband got dementia and needs help with a lot of stuff. They do a lot of projects, but I don't know whether my husband participates in them. He's more of a worker. He likes to get out and work. The layout is very nice. They have their rooms, and they have a nice living room where all of them can sit out there and watch TV. They have a dining room where they all can eat in. Outside they have a flower garden that's completely fenced in where they couldn't get out or anything, and that's the icing on the cake because my husband loves to go out there. He has only been there for a few weeks now.

I had my mom on respite care, and she went to TerraBella Hendersonville. She had been there for two weeks. The layout was very nice. It had different wings. The memory care wing was kept locked, so that no one got out or endangered themselves. The dining room for the other residents was very nice. They offered two choices for every meal. The wait staff in the dining room was very nice. The overall staff in general was very friendly and helpful. The assisted living section was very nice. They had an activities room. They had a media room, and they had multiple screened-in porches that a resident could go to. They also had an outdoor sitting area. I tried the food, and the meal was very good. It was a nice, healthy, balanced meal. I had a choice of chicken or pizza, and I chose the chicken. Both entrees came with vegetables and a biscuit. Mom loved the food. They had a monthly calendar set up where they listed the activities for every day, which I thought was excellent. Then they also had day trips and like once a week a trip to go places. The value for money was definitely worth it. Their pricing was in line with other places. The level of service that they gave was better than other places.

I went to TerraBella Hendersonville. It was smaller than I anticipated and I don't think it's really what I was looking for. There's no progressive care, so there's not a progression to skilled nursing there and that's really what I was looking for. It was a nice, clean facility and the people were very nice, but I'm needing something that starts with assisted living or even semi-independent living and transitions into skilled nursing options. The staff during the tour did a very good job. They were very nice, friendly and professional. The model did not have a kitchenette. They have a courtyard, a garden area, and screened porches.

We visited TerraBella Hendersonville yesterday and we were impressed with it. We were looking for memory care. Overall, the tour was very good. The staff that did the tour was amazing. The community was very nice, and I think it was very well done. We really didn't interact with any of the staff, just the marketing lady that did the tour. The dining area looked fine.

It was an excellent place to be. They had a lot to offer. We would have admitted our mother-in-law there, but they had no openings for us. We really liked that place. We checked out the memory care, and it was very, very clean and very homey. One thing that they had, which we personally liked better, was their outside facility. Their walkway and stuff was a little bit bigger, and we just liked that better. The staff member who toured us was wonderful too. He gave us a lot of different ideas even after knowing that they did not have an opening for us. He gave us some information that was helpful.

My sister just moved in and so far, so good. She's been there for three weeks now. As far as I can tell, it's clean, and she says the food is very good. She's actually gained some weight, which is a good thing. The staff I met were very friendly, and I felt the nurse who did the interview was very competent. She does not have an efficiency apartment, so there's no refrigerator, but her room looks like a nice-size room. My sister's room has a bird feeder right outside of it, and that's nice for her. The grounds are pretty and well kept. I think they've opened up the visitations a little bit now, but the last time I was there, it was only window visits, and that was the weekend she moved in.

We chose here for my mother because it's convenient for both my brother and I. They have a memory care unit, and the atmosphere is bright and youthful. We like the youthfulness and energy of the staff. The facility itself is very pretty, but the rooms are not very spacious. She's been pleased with the food. I ate one meal there, and it was fine. They have an evening motivational, they do baking in the morning, they have refreshments during the day, they play bingo, and they will occasionally go out and sit by the fireplace with hot chocolate.

Everything was fine. The people were cordial. They had a nice staff and dining room and activities, like trips to salons and to different places. I did not eat any food, but the dining room was nice. I was not sure of the activities, but they did various things with the residents.

The staff who assisted me during my visit was fantastic. She was awesome and very informative. The apartments were really nice and big, and they have a bathroom attached. The dining room was nice, homey, comfy, and intimate; you have little sections where you can sit and talk and eat at the same time. They have everything you can imagine. They have art section, a little craft room, they have outings, and they take you wherever you need to go. The security is enough; there is somebody sitting there at the front all the time.
