My mom is being cared for at home by me and a couple of personal care assistants through All Ways Caring HomeCare. They allowed me to have someone here just for the amount of time needed. I think some agencies require you to have their specialist for a certain amount of time, like 10 hours a week or 16 hours a week or something like that. However, All Ways Caring offers greater flexibility, and we have a specialist who is here on Saturdays, and that's very important. A lot of places don't offer weekend assistance. They allow you to make payments as you go, so it's easy billing and easy pay online. They are helping my mom with breakfast and some housework. Because she can dress herself, bathe herself, and feed herself, so pretty much this is just having someone there with her just in case she needs assistance. The staff is also very helpful, so it's not just the care person, but also the nurse and those who are in charge of the administrative portion of it. They stay in contact with us.
