I hired this company to care for my husband after his discharge from skilled nursing they required that I pay 2 weeks in advance equivalent to 75 hours of care, however we only used 50 hours, when I called to try and get a refund all the phone numbers where disconnected. I tried again about 1 month later and the numbers worked, so I left a message. Two days I got a return call from someone at Hallow Hands, she said the phone numbers stopped working due "a change in platform" and that the company had sent me a refund check for $501 dollars, about $75 less than I was owed, the day before my message, that was 2 weeks ago and I still have not received the check . When I call now no one answers the phone and any messages I have left are never answered.

We signed up with Hallow Hands to take care of my Mother who was in need of home care. The sign up process was fairly simple and the people seemed friendly and capable of providing the services that we needed. Due to my Mom's failing health we decided to do hospice and take care of her ourselves. I was worried about getting a refund or what hoops we would have to jump through in order to get our substantial deposit back. Hallow Hands was very understanding and promised a check would be sent and received by the end of the week. THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO! I have called several times and have gotten the run around to call this department or that and no one can tell me where this check is. Very shady-would not recommend them.
