I called several home care agencies in the Lansing area searching for someone to assist my elderly parents with transportation and light housekeeping tasks. I chose PCAH because after speaking with the owner Brian, I felt that they were most able to provide care. Brian was willing to put their needs first in matching them with a caregiver and was personable and responsive on the phone prior to beginning care. The caregiver spent more time on their phone than engaging with my parents or caring for their needs, did fine when told what to do, but wasn’t really able to be proactive in helping without being asked. Then after just 3 days, they quit without notice, leaving my parents without transportation to a doctor appointment. Brian initially said he would find a replacement, but then stopped responding; he has not responded to my emails or returned my parents’ phone messages. I am disappointed in the care and service and do not recommend this agency.

They offer their clients hospice care also in addition to the provide ambulation, and transferring of their patients from the bed to the wheelchair, toileting, incontinent care, and various other levels of care that is needed for your loved ones individual needs. In general, I would have to rank Preferred Home Care of Lansing on a five stars rating for their excellence and expertise in patient care providers.
