Took 2 months of no shows for someone to finally show up to our house. When she arrived, she stayed for 10 minutes before saying my father should not be receiving home care. He has a traumatic brain injury and relies on others to perform most things. Customer service (Linda M) was condescending and hung up on me.

Bayada Home Health is a very good agency. My niece referred them to us, and I got some good reports about them. I know of friends who use Bayada, too. The caregivers are very good, always on time, do just about everything you tell them to, and are trained very well. They are doing more than I wanted them to do to make us feel comfortable and have very good work ethics. They help us do the laundry, too. They do not accept anything, not even a slice of cake.

My mother gets physical therapy, occupational therapy, and some nursing from Bayada. I used to do home health care years ago, and people would come in and they wouldn't show up and blah, blah, blah, but this place is never like that. They are very good. I really recommend them. At one time, there was a home health aide who came in and helped me shower her, and they also have somebody that will come in and do personal care or light housekeeping. They don't do that now because I get paid to do it myself, but we still get the physical therapy and the occupational therapy for as long as healthcare will pay for it. When she came out of the hospital, they had somebody come right out. I think they are very professional and very good.
