"Capeway continuously goes above and beyond with my Mother. Capeway doesn't have modern/sleek furniture, most of it looks as though it has been there for quite sometime. For me, it's not about the decor of a facility, it's the level of care their staff provides. It is top notch here. My Mother consistently comes home from Capeway in a much better state than when she left. She raves about how great the food is and the different outings she went on. Any time I ever have a question, the nurses have always gotten back to me in a timely manner and have been very thorough and patient. The fact that my Mother is also safely transported to and from this facility daily has been a godsend. Our family is very grateful for this program - it enables my Mother to live with us but gets her out and active in the community daily. "

"My aunt attends Old Colony Adult Day Health Care; which is now in Brockton, MA. They moved into their own free standing building with a lot more amenities and it is beautiful, spacious, very warm and inviting. She loves it there; and I also visited the site and everyone there is very friendly and caring. They treat her like family and I would recommend them to anyone. "

"Both of my parents entered Brandon Woods at the same time after my father experienced a severe, debilitating heart attack. He was in his early 90's and my mother was already several years into dementia at that point. They could no longer live independently and under the circumstances, neither of my two siblings nor I could adequately provide the care that they needed. After touring all of the nursing facilities in the greater New Bedford area with my siblings, we decided that Brandon Woods was the best option for our parents and our family. That is such a difficult decision to make. We are so very happy that we chose Brandon Woods. The staff is excellent. They provided the loving, attentive care that you want for your family member. My father was there for about a year and passed away. The staff always treated him with respect and dignity. Although a private and somewhat introverted person, he bonded with the staff and I know that he felt that he was supported and received good care. In his final days, the staff gave our family privacy and supported us in saying goodbye to him in our time of grief. My mother was at BW for over five years. Given the progression of dementia over the course of those years and her physical deterioration during that time, she experienced many different phases of her illness. She always received the best medical care and emotional support. Again, the staff was excellent in providing care for her in the times when she was doing well, and also during the more difficult times for her. We felt she received the loving care she needed and that we wanted for her. Everyone at BW was very supportive of our family in the time leading up to and after her passing. Placing a loved one in a long term care facility is never easy, but when necessity presents itself, the loving response for the family members is to ensure that the person is provided with the best care possible. Brandon Woods provided that for our family. The facility was always clean, bright, and the rooms were adequate. Although my parents participated in only some of the many activities offered, they were always included and encouraged to be part of the general social community. Our family highly recommends Brandon Woods as the place to have your love one cared for should it become necessary."

"La Bella Vida is really beautiful and really nice. I love the people there. The only problem is it's a Spanish day care. It's supposed to be for all races. They were not translating things in English. I got fed up in asking them to say it in English. I don't understand anything that was going around me so I quit. They had the pool table, arts and crafts, bingo, TV, and dominoes. They have trips out once a week and exercise. I have only used them for a few months. They gave you a very small breakfast, a big lunch, and a snack. The one thing is they don't have on-site cooking. They have the food shipped in so you got everything ice cold. It is like when they gave you an egg, it was freezing ice cold. They need a translator. They had a girl there in the beginning working with them, and she was doing things in English. They forced her out, and she quit. They hired a Spanish girl to take her place, but every member of the staff was Spanish. "

"This is a very nice facility. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to ensure that the family feels welcome when visiting their loved ones. I have called numerous times and always forget the room number of my family member and they know who she is by first name and her exact room number. The building itself is clean and smells good. My family member is very happy with her room and with the meals she receives. She would prefer a private room to a shared one but that is unavailable at this point. She also likes the activities that are available to her and enjoys watching TV with the other residents in the recreation room. We, the family, really appreciate how attentive the staff is to any changes our family member might be going through. If she has a bad day they are very aware of it and let us know what happened and why they think she was agitated. They spend the time to chat with her and make her tranistion from being independent to now being under their care a seamless one. We are very happy to have found this facility. "

"The Assisted and Nursing Home are the best and have no problems with staff. Place very clean and have many things to do in the assisted living part. You get to no the staffs names very quickly. The food is great and sometimes they bring food to the assisted living area. Singing and arts and craft and they have a TV Room. Family can bring food in Thanksgiving Time. The residents rooms are vey good and have washer and dryers. You have to sign in to where your going. The dining room is big with a piano the staff gives 2 chooses to what to have to eat."

" Well I lost the first one that I wrote so I hope I can really do it In a nut shell. There were a few good nurses ( and I will send them to the correct place) and all of the medical staff CMA‘s are absolutely wonderful. I don’t want to mention that admissions director of social services Lisa I do not have her last name. Has a lot to learn about advocating. I was told by my insurance company Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO New Jersey, and Medicare, that I have 101 days of rehab here. This is December 5. I came in on Tuesday night. No rehab at all as I came in late. I had very good care from OT her name is Celina. The rest of the team has a lot to Learn to learn about taking care of someone at 60 years old instead of 85-90 years old I did voice this concern when I first got here. But I was assured that age didn’t matter. When the state came in the nursing staff all shaped up and told the Cma to walk a straight line. When they already have. They are sending home to Pt, ot, nursing staff this is not my first rodeo I’ve had them two times already. They’re understaffed and overworked so they cannot spend much time with you. Maybe two days turn into one day not much help. So being here I had a lot of false hope I’ve been waiting over an hour and a half a for furicet, Morton and zofran ( but I would take any thinks I’m not dry heaving anymore ). So I guess I read it to stars and meant to braid it one but I can’t change it If you were smart you would not come here to Brandon Woods South Dartmouth. Or come here and be miserable "

"My Mother has been at JML Care Centers ADH Program for 2 years. The staff is excellent and takes good care of her. There is always a staff member at the door to friendly greet her and help her to her seat. The Nurses are certified in Alzheimer's Disease and offer helpful hints to help us through the Alzheimier's journery. There are activities,musical entertainers and daily exercise.She is mentally and physically stimulated through out the day. The ADH Program allows me to work without worrying about her.Thank you to the staff at JML Care Centers Adult Day Program. "
