They just add on the cost, so instead of $32 an hour, now it is $40 an hour. That is not bad. All around, they have been wonderful, and it has been over a month now. I communicate with Joy and she's wonderful. I just call or send an email and she responds right away. The people that they hire, more or less, speak English, so there are no language barriers. The caregivers are very nice, very patient, and wonderful. With two of them, I have been to doctor's visits and all went well."

"Gentle Hands was very good. The two attendants I had were very caring and good.They were careful, helpful and have a very positive attitude.I had no problems with them at all. They were good with my mom and assisted her with activities of daily living. Doreen could have a lot more of information printed when she came. I had interviewed other agencies and they all had printed materials where you can read what exactly what whey were gonna do and what's expected. It would be easy for me to go through after they leave. I still chose her then because of her personality. I felt confident with her. I think she could give more of a better presentation if she had more material. It would make her more professional that way. "

"I get the help needed inside the house, but I need the aide to drive my parents to some of the doctors' appointments. However, none of the aides can even do that, and they can't even roll her up and down the ramp. They oversold their capabilities in that respect. The cost is comparable with the other providers. They do light cleaning, help with bathing, walk them around, organize cabinets, and do personal grooming, which is the most important thing. They're very good aides. One of the positive things they do is provide services to on a discount for going back and forth to the hospital and the doctor. They also have a good RN case supervisor."
