Prime Care is a private, owner-run, home care agency, located in Midtown Manhattan. We have been serving the 5 boroughs of NYC and Westchester since 1983. As a small, owner-run and managed agency, we excel at providing quality home care service with a very personal touch through our staff of RNs, LPNs, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, and Live-Ins. Our Director of Nursing is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who oversees every patient. Our caregivers are all extensively screened, certified, bonded, and insured and have had criminal history background checks.

Prime Care is selective in the nurses and aides we hire. Many have been employed at Prime Care for over 10 years, and a handful have been here for 15 to 20 years. We know the skills and personality of each caregiver, which allows us to make a good match when starting a new case. Our nurses and aides show up to their assignments, and we can staff a case with little notice.

Our patients, their representatives, family members and care managers can reach a Prime Care employee 24/7. Prime Care's office is open Monday through Friday from 7a-6p, and when you call, a person working in Prime Care's office will always answer the phone. We do not have any prompts to work through or voicemail options. We do not use an answering service or voicemail off hours either. When the office is closed, a coordinator who works for Prime Care, and who has all patient and employee information, answers the phone to assist. Prime Care's owner and Director of Nursing can be reached and spoken to 24/7. Each client is treated as an individual and given the utmost attention from day one, with every effort made to provide out clients with the highest quality home care.
