It is just I don't know how much she is getting out of the services from the things that we wanted to get out of. I had hoped her caretaker would take her out, but my mom is not open to it. We have no problem, and everything is exactly as advertised. I think that Tom was very nice when we met with him and came through with everything.

We really don't have any time frame to compare. The caregiver was here one time and one time only. At this point, we are in a pretty good place. We have installed cameras downstairs and when we both have to be away. The client is no longer able to go to church so we can check on her. When we go to church, we can check on her before the service and when we're leaving to make sure everything is okay. At this point, we are in a pretty good place. Until something changes, we will be alright. The caregiver was somebody different from my husband and me because we're always with the client. As with many companies in the service industry, when the company is making 2/3 more than your employee, I think that makes it difficult to retain employees. I think that was the problem with our lady. The company gets $20 an hour and she gets $10 an hour. I think that they could definitely help their employees by making the pot a little bit sweeter. I understand for companion caregiving, it's not as difficult as some of the other caregiving jobs are, but I do think the payment issue is something people take into consideration.

Just the care that has been given since they are compassionate kind and though and the caregiver truly cares about her client. She treats clients like they are part of her family. They have great communication, they are thorough, and the caregiver and the owners have been great. And the caregiver goes above and beyond if needed.
