I had them over to discuss cleaning my home through a program provided by the state for the long term ill and she was rude to the point where I made her leave. Wondering how many suicides they caused from the put downs to the disabled. Despicable! Then she lied to her boss and the next day there was an anonymous call to DCF, obviously her from the things she told them. You don't do that to people if you want their business. When I joined this program I was told things like this would not happen, that I would get the help I needed. I am dying and need help. This company will not help you.

Assurance Homecare was a referral from the Veterans Administration. They are excellent, and they have a very professional staff. Let say one of the caregivers has to take a day off or has a rescheduling, they have somebody in place immediately. They are very much on the ball. When their people are hired to come in to stay with the patients for a certain time, they will be with the patients for that time. They are not looking at the clock to try to beat the clock and get off two minutes after they come in. They are very different. One of the things that I could say is that they are very friendly, and they talk to the patient. If a person is not feeling well, they are sometimes disgruntled or complaining. It is really nice to have somebody go up to the patients to ask how to make them feel better or tell little jokes. You can see the person's whole attitude change just based on that little human interaction. You don't see that often. That's all it takes to make a person feel better. They are really good.
