It is good to have an agency that I can reach out to and that will bend over backward to provide me with a caregiver. I think that they could somehow do pop-up visits while the caregivers are with the client. This way the company can truly see what the caregivers are up to in the client's home. Some caregivers come in and just get on their phones and sit down. I have to call out to my caregivers at times. I would love to meet the ladies in administration.

I think that they could communicate more and again be more consistent because I do have to call the caregiver to make sure that my mom takes her medicine. The caregiver a lot of times has dropped the ball and my mom misses her medications. She needs to take her meds every time that the caregiver is there. I don't get a call to see how everything is going or how the caregiver is doing. I would like to see improved consistency. It took months for my mom to get a consistent caregiver. I didn't feel comfortable with a lot of people coming out. I had asked the caregiver to come out on her second day because I didn't like all these different people coming out. It should have been them to take the initiative to do it.

They can show up and stay and just do the work. When they stay, they generally do a good job. The care has been far worse than I ever imagined. Someone showed up without gloves, which I told them to get, and they just left. One of the things they are supposed to do is give me a bed bath, but the caregiver refused to do it. They just refuse to do something that I need the most, and it isn't unusual. There is a minimum amount of time I have to get, but I can't use all of that time. They can show up, stay and not leave, and they can do what I signed up to receive.

The one I had today is excellent to me and I could never find anyone on this earth as good to me as she is. She is very nice and does her work. She does a good job. She does it fast. She is no problem at all. She treats me like I'm her father and I thank God I got someone like that. Please never move her away from me. I would like her to be able to work here more because I was diagnosed with cancer a few days ago. The food could be improved. The dietician was here and the mashed potatoes are like a pot of hot water. I've had five home health aides. One of them had orange hair and was on her telephone and sat by the door on a chair. She was on the phone for 2.5 hours and she said she had to go. There was another that came in here and I thought she was better than the rest of them. We were going shopping. The agency told me that they furnish gas money to them. The aide went to the bathroom. She would always go in the bathroom and comb her hair. She stayed in there a long time and came out and said that she wouldn't take me shopping unless I filled her van up with gasoline. She went outside and I had to go to the bathroom. She had broken off the handle of the commode for me to get up and down. I paid $160 to get it repaired. The agency gave me a check for that.

The services are provided for my mom, who lives in Florida. It gives my sister and I a sense of relief that someone is looking out for her and that she's being taken care of. The biggest problem we have that I'd like to see improved is no reflection on the agency, but if a caregiver calls out and is not able to go, it's difficult for them to get a replacement. There's nobody there with my mom. It doesn't happen on a regular basis, it does happen frequently. I understand that it's difficult to get people to work as there's a shortage of home health aides. The care the providers give is excellent. I can always reach them if I need to and if there's a problem they're quick to respond. They're reliable.

They didn't show up. One or two caregivers came on time, but the rest of them didn't show up on time. I would like them to provide more consistent care.

We have a consistent schedule with the same person. Also, for me as his wife, I have time to do other things and have someone who takes care of him. The agency is responsive when we need them.

Their availability has been hit or miss. We have been left without coverage, which is because of them and a staff shortage. I think they just need to be more honest!

They give the client daily bathing, changing, and helping with walking for my mom. They need to work on the communication with us, and they need to have better staffing. They also need to be more consistent. I had to find my own caregiver to help.

They always sent people whom were inexperienced, lazy, was often late and left early. When I called the office they were very rude and wouldn't let me speak to management or the owner.
