Finding care for a loved one is an emotional time. My brother and I were faced with the dilemma of what to do for our mom who needed more care than we were personally able to provide. We investigated several options, but the one that appealed to us the most was the hope of having our mom live in her own home where she was the most comfortable, while receiving assistance with her daily needs. We were referred to Gale at Assisting Hands, and after speaking with her on the phone, we set up an appointment to meet her and hear about her program. Gale is a lovely woman, caring and considerate, and so easy to work with. She truly understood what we needed and was able to guide us through the process, explaining all of the services that Assisting Hands provides. Everyone that works for her is bonded and insured, so there are no worries about that. She also takes care of the payroll and taxes. We had a second meeting to be introduced to our caretaker. What a wonderful woman! It's like Gale matched our Mom to the perfect person! We can see that this interaction has been good for our Mom; our caretaker engages her in conversation, fixes meals and snacks, assists her in bathing and personal grooming, and even washed windows one day! We are very happy that we found Gale and highly recommend Assisting Hands.
