My parents are using the services and not me. The caregivers were not as forthright in suggesting what they could do and ended up sitting around and watching TV. I like that the initial set up of it all when the nurse came around and the connections they have with other organizations is great.

It's very distracting for me, even with BrightStar here. I'm very glad they're here, but my dad doesn't want someone else helping him in the restroom. I've had a couple of different ones here. Basically, the image portrayed on TV. The actual representation was the same. Other companies show up and aren't professional. They don't have uniforms or gloves. BrightStar cares about the perception they give. They wash their hands first. They wear gloves. They have good habits. It seems to come natural. They've been overall more professional and more responsive. The probably have more resources.

The caregivers have helped the most by just keeping the client on schedule and getting him to all of his numerous doctor's appointments he has to get to. I like the home type atmosphere. They're interested in the client's care and they're very engaged. They're just a great company.

When my cousin went to go help a few weeks ago she usually has her caregiver clean and there seemed to be no sign of moping or vacuuming, only dusting. They communicate very well and provide security that your loved ones are cared for.

I would not use this company again. Large turn over in office staff due to owners treatment of staff. Owner has no background in adult care, comes from corporate background. Cold towards clients issues. You can get the same caregivers offered by this company at a lower price through other agencies. I do not recommend using Brightstar Huntington Beach.

I didn't really use them. They came three times, and I didn't see that there was any help at all. I would not recommend them. They came out here and were very professional, and I thought they were going to be great. Then they sent out a young girl, but I wanted somebody that was more mature.

The company provides good services. I had instructed in the beginning for the caregivers to have my dad do as much as possible, but they let my dad not do things. The caregivers were there for my dad. He could have done more. He didn't have much physical activity, which needed to increase, but the caregivers were wonderful to him. One caregiver was really good and went above and beyond what was expected. That was the caregiver that we wanted.

It's been fine lately, but before, I got calls too often that the caregiver couldn't come and that they'd find someone else. They bathe her, wash her hair, and help her get around because she can't move too much.

BrightStar is amazing. They have worked with us over and over again. My mother-in-law has dementia, and they bend over backwards to work with us so that we can keep her at home. I rest easy because Bright Star is involved. They have not only provided the care, but they're very good at communicating and letting me know what's going on. Their supervisor actually went by the house on their way home to collect a urine sample.

I really like the evaluation from BrightStar Care that included the nurse, and I love the caregiver, but they needed a replacement and I was not happy with who they sent. BrightStar Care has made my life easier because I don't have to drive to my loved one's house multiple times a week.
