They were really flexible in meeting the requirements that the client had. We missed a couple of days in the schedule and they plugged the holes really fast. The services sure make life easier. The night care would come in and watch over my loved one while they were in bed. They would listen to the nursery monitor so my loved one could be monitored.

My husband has Alzheimer's and is in the moderate to late stage of this disease. I have used Right at Home Caregiving for the past year and am truly impressed with the service they provide. For 9 hours each week(3hrs/3 days) a caregiver is in my home; she is compassionate, attentive and it is obvious she enjoys her work. She handles upsets calmly and works with my almost non-verbal husband to keep his frame of mind as positive as possible. Her warm personality allows me to feel he is secure when I am not at home. She appreciates what little he is able to do and praises each small accomplishment. Right at Home has responsive office staff and works hard to accommodate schedule changes.

If I knew someone who needed in-home care, I would definitely recommend Right at Home. They've done a great job with introductions and preparing my mother for the services needed, as well as potential situations we might come across. There were some scheduling glitches, but the agency was able to manage that. The services from Right at Home were very brief. My mother needed specific services, and didn't make it clear how much help she needed at the time, so we didn't get what we needed. It wasn't the agency's fault, though.

All the caregivers from Right at Home did was do a visual survey to see if there were obstacles in my home and to check to see if I was walking down the street correctly. I don't need someone to come into my home to check and see if things are fine because they are fine, I needed someone to help me with physical therapy. The caregivers I had were pleasant, but not knowledgeable and not skilled.

The caregiver was good--it was just difficult for me to communicate what I needed. My daughter spoke Spanish, however, and they could communicate beautifully.
