My aunt was in rehab at Edenbrook Wisconsin Rapids about a year ago. The staff was very nice. They explained everything to us. They had an excellent physical therapy department, where my aunt was for rehabilitation. They have activities there. They had karaoke. They played cards and puzzles. In the physical therapy department, they had a bicycle that my aunt loved because it had a screen on it like a computer, and it was a car. It simulated driving a car down the highway to see how good she would be. She was on that a lot of the time.

Worst place for rehab. Mom was there 3 days before she checked herself out. There 2 days and the rehab consisted of wheeling in a wheelchair. After she did papers to leave they came to walk her before her medication took care of pain. And only walked in her room. Said they did. It gave portable oxygen tanks so she couldn’t leave the room. The rehab guy said that was the only time he was going to be around. Food terrible. Run fast from this place. Looks more like a shelter from Katrina

Im a friend of a family member in strawberry lane i visit every so often there in there for the long haul,and there does not seem to be enough nurses or nurses aids on each wing,my friend spilled a drink in his bed and 10 mins later a aide can in and said the nurse will be in shortly to change the bedding ,so i waited it took 50 mins before they can in to change the bedding ,so my friend layed in the mess all that time.thats very bad!! he pays big money to be there hire more help!! on the good side i recently seen a housekeeper working on my friends wing, he was cleaning the baseboards on his knees, and then came in to clean part of the mess on the floor he was very friendly,and helpfull and went out of his way to make things right. i think his name was matt,or matthew? he was very careing and i then heard after he left the room,my friend there told me he comes in to visit daily, ask if everything is ok, and changes his batteries in his air freshner. its nice to know its not just a job to some people ,they really do care. ,i just came back home from a visit today and heard this housekeeper no longer works there i was sad ,i hope they hire just as nice and careing people very soon! over-all it seems pleasant and clean
