Do not judge this facility by its somewhat dated appearance. The staff is very warm and attentive as well as professional. The meals are varied, nutritious and tasty. The staff works hard to meet residents' physical and social needs.

This was a horrible place. The staff was rude, constant turnover. Turnover for Managers as well, within a 10 months there were no less than 5 different people. The staff gave the wrong medication, having my loved one to be 13 days in the hospital. I contacted the state, they were sited for 2 violations. Do not go there !

My Mother had three visits over the last two years and each one got worse. They have a high turnover of help including the administration and tell you what you want to hear with no followup. The last time she was in for a stroke and had a heart monitor no one knew how to use the device and never returned after the one month use. She was left largely on her own, being fed and changed only when convenient. This is what you get when the owners are in New York and treat this as an investment. There are better facilities.

My father was at Bornemann's for a year. Overall, I think they took good care of him. Most of the CNA's and nurses were extremely compassionate. There were a few that my father didn’t like and I agreed with him on those. The only reason I didn’t rate ths facility higher was because of 2 situations. One, someone on the night staff stole my purse when I had forgotten it there and two, after my Dad passed away, someone on the night staff went through his personal belongings and took a few minor items. My biggest recommendation for this facilities is to get cameras so that they can stop unprofessional behavior.

Bornemann's Nursing Home has been very good to both my mom and dad. The staff is very attentive to my dad who has dementia. Most of the staff is very kind and considerate to my mom .The facility is very clean and always smells clean. If there ever is a concern the staff is very good about checking into the situation and the problem is usually resolved quickly. I am very happy with Bornemann's care and highly recommend the facility.
