We looked at Blossom Valley, and they only do assisted living; however, my parents are more interested in independent living. So, that's why they're probably going to be ruled out. What I like best about them is the community and the friendliness of the residents. What I like the least would be no independent living. The staff members all seemed very good. It was a nice enough facility, but they're in the process of redoing carpeting and all that. It was pretty dated.

We toured Blossom Valley by Cogir. They looked like an excellent facility. We did eat there. They had excellent food. The people were really friendly, they gave you a lot of information, and they called back. She just called me that day and said she'd keep calling, but I told her we're not at assisted living, or not quite there yet. The staff was excellent and very helpful. They had an exercise room, which I liked. They had a library. They had a couple of different rooms where they had meals and activity rooms. The people working around there are friendly, and also the people who live there. They are a little more expensive than the other facility, and that is something we have to consider.

It is a great place for seniors who need a little bit of help. The rooms are very nice, the food is great, and there are lots of activities for different people's interests. The staff seemed really caring.

We visited and it was lovely. The staff member was very informative, she knew what she was talking about, and she she shared her experiences with us. We were confident that they could manage Mom's care.
