"I really liked East Wenatchee Senior Living's independent living. They are remodeling, but they have a formal dining room, which is very nice. They also have a place where you can get hamburgers or a quick meal. They have big living rooms, big bedrooms, and nice bathrooms. I wanted it, but it would take all my money. They do supply all your TV stations, so I guess you don't have to go anywhere to watch TV. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they treat you like family. The person who gave the tour was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and not forceful. She's not like a used car salesman. She let the home sell itself, and I love it when people do that. They don't push you to buy it and let the place sell itself because you are going to live there. The facility was really clean. They're also close to Safeway, a big supermarket. They're not downtown, but they're close to it, maybe within a mile or two. There's a mall there, so it's centrally located. If you're capable, you can walk anywhere you want, or they will drive you. I love the location. They have a lot of outings, too. They'll take you to Leavenworth, a Bavarian-style village, which is very big on Christmas. They have a lot of Christmas ornaments that you will never get anywhere else. They have a big Christmas tree lighting and a live nativity scene. It's pretty nice, and they will take you there. They will buy your ticket for the nativity scene, and you can watch it, and then they'll bring you home. They also had a fishing outing. A bunch of the people there love fishing, so they rented a boat and had them all out on the lake."
