I went to Holiday Harvard Park. I like the price for one thing. It was very affordable, and they have three meals a day, which is good. The room itself was nice and large for a one-bedroom. The person who gave the tour was very good.

I chose Holiday Harvard Park for my brother because of the availability and it's accessible for people with various limitations. The staff was attentive and very thorough. The facilities were well laid out and getting around with wheelchairs or walkers is very easy. The menu is very healthy and deliciously looking. We haven't eaten there but we have looked at their menus and presentations, and there's lots of good variety there.

I liked Holiday Harvard Park. If I were moving, I probably would go there. I did like the staff there. I thought they were wonderful. The food was wonderful. I had a wonderful salad. I know they offered a salon and a lot of arts and crafts. I thought the place was very clean. It was located on the south side of Spokane, so it's right near everything.

Holiday Harvard Park is fantastic. The staff members are happy, and they're good. I can't say enough good things about it. You could have a lot of care. You could have a little bit of care. It's for people that want to stay living. It's independent living, but the neat thing here is that they have certified CNAs that you can hire on your own and you can adjust it as you need it. If you need help about three days a week, you schedule that person and they work it out between you and the person. For people that don't need a lot of help, they could still have help. They give you a device that you push the button if you ever have a fall or are ever hurt or you're lost. The general manager has been here 13 years. Their new sales lady has lived here with her mom who was going through cancer. They're always concerned. I was blown away. They're fantastic.

We toured Holiday Harvard Park. We went into different rooms. They've got the biggest rooms among the places we visited, and the cost was reasonable. We met the chef. The people were great. You couldn't ask for anything better. The staff was outgoing and very friendly. The residents that we met were friendly. Everything was really clean. I couldn't believe how clean it was. They had a hairstylist. They had game rooms. They were playing bingo in one of the rooms when we got there. They had crafts, and I saw knitting and painting.

I was not impressed with Holiday Harvard Park. I made an appointment to go and meet with the staff member, and she did not show up. She actually called to confirm the night before, and then she never let me know that apparently she had another appointment (a personal appointment), and she didn't show up. I thought it was very unprofessional. The office manager ended up giving me a tour. She was nice and the general manager walked in, had heard that the other lady didn't show up, and she never even introduced herself to me. The place smelled horrible and it was dirty. I did not care for it. I saw two different apartments. They were pretty small and outdated. There was a group of residents that were doing tai chi themselves. The office manager told me that was something that the residents organized themselves.

The staff at Holiday Harvard Park is very helpful, very friendly, and very kind. It's nice and they have a beautiful dining area. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. The grounds are well kept and there are lots of flowers. The food tasted lovely. My mom likes it as well. They do several activities, but the thing that stood out the most to us was the fact that it did not feel like an old person's home. It's like an apartment complex with a nice restaurant on the main floor.

The tour at Holiday Harvard Park went really well. The community looked really homey. It gives you the impression that this is where you belong, and the amenities were fantastic. Talking to a group of the people that lived there gave me a brighter outlook to it. They have all the exercise equipment, a computer room, a place to watch movies, place to eat and places to play games. All the different recreational type of things are available. The staff was excellent. I can't remember her name, but she was wonderful, very polite, and very knowledgeable. It almost feels like it's your home, it's a great feeling. The food was great. It was a deluxe cheeseburger with all the trimmings: a green salad and potato salad. It was excellent. To me, it was the best one. The staff was the best; they were just excellent. I was looking for dirty carpets and things like that, but I didn't find anything. I found it all very nice and clean. It looked like they keep it dusted, and I didn't find anything that was out of place. It was very nicely done.

I went to Harvard Park. The overall experience was not that good. I didn't like it. It was older, it was dark, and there wasn't a lot of light coming in. Their game rooms and social rooms were very small. The person who gave me the tour was nice enough. It was clean but old and needing of an upgrade. It needed to be remodeled. They had a small dining area. You got a full-sized kitchen, so I don't think they had any significant meal plans. They had a place where you could have the family gather and have a little get-together, but that was it. They had a community room downstairs, a small bar, a small room for gaming, and a small library.

We just went to one of the rooms of Harvard Park, and they were very nice. We sat down, spoke, and figured out that money wise, it was a little too expensive for us. The gal gave us some ideas, and she was very informative. I liked the rooms, especially the on the bottom floor; it was really nice. If I remember it right, they didn't have a swimming pool; that would have been a good advantage for me.

My daughter and I went to Harvard Park, and it was very nice, but I live in the very northern part of Spokane, and they're way over in the Southill area. So, it was so far away that I knew nothing about that area. I would drive through going to someplace else maybe once in a while in my lifetime, but I just don't ever go on the south side of town, and I'm too old to be trying new areas. Size wise, the rooms would have accommodated whatever furniture I needed to put in there. They had a pool and so many hallways. It's a big place, and it was nice when you walked in. I didn't see a lot of people sitting outside, but we were there in the morning, so maybe they were all still inside. The lady who toured us though was very nice, very knowledgeable, and friendly. It's a beautiful area, and there were real nice walking paths outside, and mini-patios around that had outdoor furniture in it where they could go out and sit. It looked real pretty because it's on the south side. It's in a residential area, and it's just very nice and beautiful.

My tour at Harvard Park was fine. The staff was very nice, very informative, and the area was very clean. They have a beautiful outdoor area and it has the ability to do a little bit of gardening outside, there's a walking path, and it was very nice. They gave me a sample menu to take home.

Harvard Park was wonderful. Everybody was very warm and very gracious. They gave us the information we wanted and took their time with us. There was no rush, and they didn't push us through for somebody else. They were very sweet and listened to my mother-in-law. Everybody said "hello" and acknowledged us. The facility was very clean, and the apartments were up to date and convenient for the seniors. It's not very far from us, and it's in a beautiful area. They were just doing a little bit of renovation when I was there, but that's not really a bad thing.

We toured Harvard Park. It did not fit. They were friendly. The apartments were not good. It was old and it was dark. We just didn't like it. The location was fine. The surrounding was plain. They were nice. There was a workout room.

I was not too happy with Harvard Park because the rooms were very small, they smelled, and the food didn't smell good. The staff seemed very nice. They're independent living, that's also why I didn't care for that one. I think their carpeting needed to be cleaned better and they needed to get rid of the smells that were in there.

I like Harvard Park's facilities. They have the same amenities as other places. They have a dining area, a recreational room, and they have walking paths. They have no activities because of COVID. It was very clean.

Harvard Park was fine, and the staff was kind, but it didn't check all the boxes of what my mother-in-law needed. The apartments didn't have in-room laundry facilities, and it didn't have the amenities that the other places had. The kitchen was very tiny, and it didn't have a full size refrigerator. The layout was fine, but it's an older facility, and it showed its age. It was in a nice location in Spokane.

My mother moved in to Harvard Park, and I think it's very nice. She's still adjusting because she has never been in anything like this, plus adjusting to losing my dad after many years of marriage. She's adjusting well and it's a nice place. They have a bus to take the residents out usually on a Thursday or Tuesday if they want to go shopping locally within a few mile radius. He also takes people to church on Sundays. They also have activities within the community. Their food lacks something to be desired. But it's because it's an institution with a large amount of people, although they're trying to make the food appealing. The gals that work there are excellent, I'm really happy with the staff there specially the young gals they've been excellent. They're always pleasant and try to be accommodating, although the residents are older and picky. The facilities are very clean, although it's a little bit older than some of the other places we've looked at.

My husband moved into Harvard Park. It's pretty nice, the staff seems to be doing quite a good job, and the food is pretty good. They have a list of activities people can participate in, and I think it's great. They have Bingo, outings, and they have a bus that takes people to the VA hospital, church, and to different restaurants. They have games, exercise programs, and some crafts.

I love Harvard Park. It was older, not as flashy, and I felt more comfortable there. The people were nice. The manager who gave me the tour was professional, answered all my questions, and called me three times after. I went again to listen to two women play the violin. They had three meals a day. I ate lunch, and the food was really good. They had two lunch menus: the regular menu and a physically fit menu. They had a big game room and a nice entertainment center with TV. They had a weekly maid service, and washer and dryer available. The one-bedroom was the size I was looking for, and it had a built-in shower with a seat.

Harvard Park was a nice, newer place, and the location was good, but it would be frustrating to go up and down those hills. Everything was good; the apartments and rooms were nice, and had ample room to fit a queen-sized bed, a TV in the living room, and a couple of chairs. It had a nice setting, and there were a lot of activities. However, there wasn't much exercising, which was kind of a downfall. I was also worried about the wintertime when the roads get bad while going up and down the south hill.

Harvard Park is a lovely place. The people are very friendly. Both the staff and the residents are very welcoming, and they really help us feel at home. We have decided that this place is fine as soon as we're ready to move into a senior community. We've eaten dinner there a couple of times, and the food is very good. This place seems adequate for our needs.

I wouldn’t go at Harvard Park. The colors and stuff were very old. But the people were very nice. The guy that did the interview and the tour was very knowledgeable and very nice. I don’t have any problem with the staff it’s just the building itself just felt very old and tired. The rooms were very small and there were no washer or dryer in the unit.

The owner manager at Harvard Park took me into a private room and kept me sitting there while he was doing all sorts of interviewing type of questions. He gave me no brochures, no materials whatsoever, with no follow-up, and I felt unwelcomed. The apartments that I saw had a microwave and a small refrigerator, but no hot plate or stove. The meals were served at an exact time. They serve breakfast at 8:30, and if you get there at 8:45, you miss breakfast. It was definitely not user friendly. My friend who lived there did not like it either. However, they were pretty good on activities, and they do have the bus that will take you places.

Hi Jon, I'm Katie, I work at Holiday Retirement Home Office. First, let me sincerely apologize that you were treated that way. We never want our visitors to feel unwelcome, so I agree that behavior is unacceptable. I passed your feedback to our Resident Relations department for their investigation. We wanted to be at Harvard Park. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and nice size living area for two people. The staff was wonderful, very caring, and thoughtful. They remembered us. We had been out there several times to check other things out, and they had been very helpful. We had dinner there several times. They had a concert where a woman came in, played the piano, and sang. The food was excellent.

Harvard Park was really nice. The people were friendly. They did not have the assisted living that we could go to from independent living, but other than that, we really liked them. We have thought about going there before we found the place our mother is in now. It did not feel as friendly, but it was still a really great place.

We visited because we had a friend who's staying there. They had a family reunion that Harvard Park set up. We thought that was real nice and very considerate of Harvard Park. It looked like a warm and comfortable place to be. It looked pretty good and one that would take care of our needs. It was clean and seemed like it had a lot to offer as far as things to do. The people that we met there were very helpful and in fact they follow up and keep in touch with us. We had a great visiting experience.

My husband found his friend a place at Harvard Park. He could have his two black Labs there on the main floor and they had a back door so he could take them out to walk them. His friend had been there a month now and I've had dinner with him every now and then. It's a wonderful place for him and it's working out beautifully. There are about 80 apartments there. They have housekeeping staff that comes in once a week, changes the bed, towels, and does the vacuuming. He can pay extra should he need assisted living; a group can come in everyday and take care of him. It's nice, clean and everybody is friendly and pleasant. My husband said he doesn't mind living there.
