Symphony of Wimberley is nice, and they had it decorated nicely for Halloween. The folks that live there didn't seem overly energetic or happy. It was clean, but it's just I'm very disappointed in the fact that they're assisted living. I thought assisted living was like you were living in your own little bitty cottage or at least a two-room apartment. These are one room, with barely enough room for a bed and a recliner, and they were wanting $6,000 a person for that little bitty area. It just doesn't make any sense to me, and I think I could do better than that. The staff were fine, they were nice. It's a private pay. So, once they found out that they weren't going to have any money after one year, then they weren't interested in talking to you anymore. They could improve by either having larger rooms for the price that they're charging or a lot less money for what they're offering. Because it's assisted living. It's only supposed to be somebody there to kind of watch out for you and get your meals, and you're paying $6,000 a person. So, they would have been paying $12,000 a month for maybe a 12 by 12 room and a bathroom.

Symphony of Wimberley was located in a very attractive area. It was a little bit more remote, but it was a brand-new facility. They were just putting it together and remodeling some things. As a facility, it was nice. It seemed that they had a lot of nice accommodations. They had a multimedia room where they showed movies. They had a hair and nail salon. The director gave us the tour and she was very accommodating.

I am very pleased with the care and respect my mother received at the facility. The staff call me to keep me informed of changes. My mother loves the Lord and staff will have Bible study daily with her to keep her spirits lifted. Staff are always smiling and loving. I really trust my mom is in the best place. When she moved in they assessed per prescriptions and found many of these could be eliminated. Previous facility over medicated. They pay attention if she does not want to eat to offer a substitute or assess if she feels ill. I am so pleased. My brother and I joined mom for lunch one Saturday to celebrate her birthday and the food was great. The food was served on china. I have observed this as well on days I visit and walk with her to the dining area, s as Jesus good food in nice table setting. This makes for a happy place to eat.

I love this place. My mom feels right at home. The staff and owners really care about the entire experience for their residents. I can’t imagine a more friendly, clean, happy place for my mom! It’s been a lifesaver for our family!
