I toured Traditions Senior Living and Memory Care. It would have been great, except it smelled very badly of urine. I don't have a problem with my mom not having a shower in her room, but the showers that they have available for the residents were pretty nasty. It wasn't necessarily dirty, but they needed repair badly. There was no lock on the door when they brought the residents in there and no curtain or anything. Primarily, the tour experience was pretty good. They were very upfront and direct. They seem to have activities daily. They have a calendar. The staff was very pleasant and they didn't try to hide things. You can tell they were being truthful about everything. Any question I ask them, they answer immediately. There was no subterfuge or anything. The rooms were OK. They're not huge, but they're not tiny either. It was sufficient. I would have liked more closet space. I saw that the residents had good food. The dining area was nice and clean. Everybody seemed to be comfortable and happy with the food in front of them. One of the aides was in there attending to their needs. They were having cheeseburgers and French fries, and it was fresh. You could tell it wasn't stale or anything like that. They go to the library, get in a circle and talk about their life experiences. They have activities like card games. If they want to get their hair done, they can get their hair done. They also have a fancy nails thing for the ladies. They have several small living rooms - some have a TV and some don't. But the TVs weren't blaring, so that was good. It was quiet, which is a good thing for dementia patients. They also had a courtyard inside in the middle of the building, so the residents couldn't get out and get lost. They can go in and out one door, but the other door is locked. I saw the nurse's station. It was locked off, so the residents can't go back there and mess with the medications. I didn't see a lot of staff members inside that memory care. I saw more staff members outside of memory care, in assisted living. But I did see a couple of staff members inside residents' rooms caring for them.

Traditions Senior Living and Memory Care was OK. It just didn't have certain features that my mom requires. The girl who took us around was OK. She was nice, but we had to pump her for information. The place was on a very busy, noisy street, and my mother requires a room with its own thermostat, which they didn't have. Other than that, it was attractive and nice-looking on the inside.

We toured Traditions Senior Living and Memory Care. They were friendly. At the time, we were sort of looking for something different. We were looking for a place that my mom could also be in, but she's in long term care. It was welcoming. It did not seem to be a big community because at the time we looked it, it was Covid and people couldn't be out. We were wearing masks and quarantined and all that. The room was smaller than what we were looking for. They have a library. It felt homey.

My clients moved into Traditions Senior Living and Memory Care. The staff is great. Their room is nice and clean. Everybody's been very helpful. It's a good transition for them. They have an apartment number as far as their mailing address. It's got a little living space and a small patio area in the back where they can fit a couple of chairs. They have their bedroom and bathroom.

My husband was a resident in Memory Care for over two years. He consistently received loving care. Because I tried to visit my husband daily I had multiple opportunities to observe the staff’s interaction with those in their care. Memory care residents frequently are not easy to handle. Without exception the staff was patient, loving, kind and always treated the residents with respect. The rooms were clean as were the visiting areas. The laundry was does daily. The meals were tasty, varied and prepared according to the needs of each resident. There were daily activities for the residents and events were held monthly for family/residents. My husband died recently but I am so grateful he (and I) was fortunate enough to be part of the Traditions family.

I was at Traditions Senior Living to see friends. The rooms were small and clean, and the people were well cared for. The place was favorable.
