Caraday of Lampasas

My mom has been at the Caraday of Lampasas for over 2 years now. In that time my mom has been give the best care. The staff has went out of their way to make sure I am happy with information pictures and videos when I can’t make it for a visit. Her health and wellbeing is clearly very important to them. They even take the time to make sure I am happy with the care as well. There are so many people who have went above and beyond I can’t even name them all here. I do not regret that we chose Caraday of Lampasas for my mom.

I love the Caraday of Lampassas . My mom has been a resident for 2 years and she is doing so good . She is safe and happy . Great place to put your loved ones once you can not care for them anymore . I am there daily and they are truly amazing. Happy daughter Diane

Everyone at Caraday of Lampasas has been so kind and helpful. They very quickly got my mother admitted and she settled in without issues. The staff go out of their way to make sure my mom is well cared for and I am well informed and comfortable with her care. I so glad we chose Caraday.

My dad has been staying in Cedar Hill Healthcare Centre for close to 4 months now. It's a nursing home in Lampasas. They were not very attentive to the visitors when I visited. They didn't even look at me and I stood at the door for 15 minutes and asked somebody to let me out. The staff is not friendly. I don't have anything nice to say. I'm not happy with it. My brother did it, I did not pick the facility. I do have something to compare it to because my mom was in another one. I'm not happy overall with it. They just ignore everybody. They ignore calls like they ignore everybody. There's no interaction with anybody. When I come in, they don't speak to me, there's no 'hi' or 'how are you?'. There's no friendliness there at all. They've moved my dad 4 times and they're not good. He is by himself now. He was with another person and then they did finally move him by himself because he does have Alzheimer's and he talks like mad a lot so they kind of have him in isolation by himself. The facility is old and it probably needs new furniture and stuff. Worse than any other facility. The beds and the nightstands or whatever they have, are really old. I haven't seen anything crazy about the food, it seems to be kind of normal food. I don't have a problem with their food. My dad doesn't participate because of his Alzheimer's. Honestly, though, I have never seen any activity going on there. I guess you get what you paid for. I think it's probably a little cheaper than some other facility so I'm thinking that's why my brother put my dad in there.
