I toured The Heritage at Eldridge Parkway and left feeling very uneasy. The building looks nice when you walk in, but the atmosphere didn’t feel warm. Staff seemed busy and not really focused on the residents. When I asked questions, I couldn’t get clear answers, which made me feel like communication would be a problem if my loved one lived here. It just didn’t give me the peace of mind I was hoping for.

It is very prestigious. The other places that I visited recommended them as being the best for difficult patients, like with cases of violence or hallucinations. I could see an environment where the patients were very happy. It was luxurious and almost felt like you're inside your own house.

It was recommended to us by a doctor, so we went there for a visit. It was great, and we have no problems with it. The only thing we have an issue with is that we did not like the fact that he would have to share a shower with someone.
