I visited this facility looking into their rehabilitation amenities, and found much more than I had bargained for. I found that no only do they offer physical rehabilitation, but also occupational therapy and speech therapy, as well as being a short term, and long term care facility. Their staff is always pleasant, and greet every person with a smile and a word of greeting. They have daily schedules posted through out the facility of activities they have planned for the residents and their families, as well as wonderful, caring people who plan these activities. They have two wings in this facility, one for short term patients, and one for long term patients. They have a very advanced common area for all patients and their families to enjoy visits, which is equipped with the newest technology in video games for the kids, big screen tv, and all the cable channels that any one person could view. If you enjoy the outdoors, they have a beautiful garden with benches to sit and enjoy the smell of fresh flowers, and their beautiful bounty of magnolia trees. They also take the dining experience of nursing facilities to a new level with their 5 star dining hall. They have cloth table cloths, as well as cloth napkins, you drink your beverage from a glass goblet, and enjoy your meals by candle light. It is probably one of the best nursing home experiences I have ever had. And best of all, their rehabilitative, and therapy services are not limited to residents, but also available to the public. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the market for any type of rehabilitation, or extended care.
