Erwin Health Care is exceptional with the patients and the families! I have a loved one there that was at other Nursing homes and did not receive a fraction of the care she receives at Erwin,The staff goes out of their way to make sure the patients are happy and if a problem arises they address it quickly as they are so skilled with the situations! My loved one has been there almost a year ,and at the other places I was calling everyday and continuously worried,At Erwin, I have peace of mind,My loved one has dementia and a very bad case and is hard to handle but at Erwin ,it’s been a real blessing as they know how to handle the situations,It had been 2 years of me worrying every single day and since the day she entered Erwin it made things easier on me and her.She is in the Cherokee Wing and every staff member there is truly amazing.I live in Knoxville and drive 2 and a half hours each way to visit with her and it’s a beautiful drive ,The Main thing is she is taken care of respectfully and with dignity.Theres not enough stars to rate Erwin as it is exceptional ! God really blessed us !with the place!

I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The staff goes above and beyond to give extraordinary care not just to the residents but to the families as well. Through the time my father was there the staff took exceptional care of him. This is the cleanest facility I have ever been in. It is truly top notch. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

This has by far been the best facility that I have ever entered. They love their patients! They are like family! They are not only supportive of the patients, they are supportive of the families. Suzie, Vinnie, Greg, Jewel, Cathy, Lily, Bobbie, Lindsey, Margaret.... wow, what excellent and caring professionals!! I could name more names to this list! These are the one's who I have had contact with most frequently! How wonderful that I, as an out of town relative, even know these names by heart! How wonderful that a facility taking care of our loved ones, has this many people that stick out for going way beyond what is expected! They care about the patient and their families! I wish there were more facilities like Erwin Health Care Center. I have received as much support from these individuals as my relative! They definitely go above and beyond! I am so thankful for their influence the lives of others!

Erwin Health is an older place. It is setup like a hospital; there’s no carpet and no soft chairs, but it is much more sanitary. They have to be what they called toileted, and they can handle it here at Erwin. They know how to do it. Almost every single day, they have people volunteer to come in and play music, guitars, and sing. Periodically, they have the TV on, but they don’t have more movies on.
