"I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The staff goes above and beyond to give extraordinary care not just to the residents but to the families as well. Through the time my father was there the staff took exceptional care of him. This is the cleanest facility I have ever been in. It is truly top notch. I would give them 10 stars if I could. "

"The facility was clean, and there appeared to be plenty of staff. However we visited around 11:30 am and my grandmothers bed pan had not been changed that morning. She had also informed us that she had ask to brush her teeth at 9 am, they told her they would be right back to help her with that. Yet at 11:30 they still had not returned. A few days after we had gotten a call saying that they had to take her back to the hospital because they had lifted her out of her chair and broke her arm and cracked 3 of her ribs. She did have bone cancer so I understand her bones were easy to break. However a facility of this nature should have been better equipped to handle someone with that condition. "

"Baptist Convalescent Center is a small facility in a small town, so it has the benefit of being a place where everyone knows everyone else! I really liked this facility for many reasons, but mainly for the improvements that they have made over the last several years in order to become better and better. They redecorated and it looks much more open and a lot lighter, which automatically puts patients in a better mood. The staff are so nice and they call the family immediately when there is any change in patient status. "

"My father went to Church Hill Care & Rehab Center. It was very personal, and the best parts were the exercises and the rehab itself. The staff was very efficient. The rooms were small with two people in each room, so it was very crowded. They went outside for cake and watermelon during the summer. There were church services several times a week, music from different groups came in to sing, and bingo once a week. They also had a free barber/beauty shop on-site, which was real handy. "

"My mother was at Lakebridge for rehabilitation following an illness. The rehab department is great. The best I have seen. Most of the nursing staff truly cares, and work extra hard. There are a couple bad ones in every crowd, but overall, this health care center is great. If you have doubts, get out and travel to some more and compare the atmospheres."

"My mother-in-law moved to Life Care Center of Gray. From my experience, the nurses have been very nice and helpful. She's in the memory care unit. They have a good security barcode entry to the door. So, no one can accidentally wander out or any of that. They gave us a code so we could visit and everything. The places are in great shape. There are no complaints there. They have it laid out like a long hallway with all their rooms. At the front, most of the residents hang out in the dining room, with plenty of tables, and they have another room that's kind of like a game room, TV room, and all that. My mother-in-law has made good friends with one already. I think the only thing that can be improved is cleanliness. The bathrooms could be cleaned a little more often or better. The staff, they've seemed very good with the residents, they've been very helpful, very patient, and they've been very great with us. They answered our questions and took the time. They inventory everything, keep a log of all that, describing everything and, not just rushing through it."

"This is a small facility that is located in a beautiful area of Marshall. I noticed that the rooms were decorated very cozy and reminded me of being at home. The patients seemed to be eager to join in the activities programs that were offered by Elderberry Health Care. The nursing staff were very warm and welcoming every time they saw us and you could tell the patients truly enjoyed the attention that the staff provided. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others. "

"My parents' doctors are at The Heritage Center. My mother went into a coma, and she's out of it now, but she's going to need special care, and we just want to keep her close to the doctors. That is the only reason. They do not like it necessarily, but that does not matter. They're not there yet. They're going to be there. We're just now coming out of the hospital, and we're getting ready for them to go in. I think the staff was good. I was told breakfast and lunch were excellent; quite a few people pass on the dinner. They did everything pretty good. Everyone seems to love it. My parents have four friends who live there already. "

"I was in Jefferson Park at White Pine a few weeks ago. They were super nice. There are five houses out there, and each house has 30 beds. And what I was in there for was rehab. I went in there for therapy to walk and get my oxygen to come up. Each house has its own dining room, and they have their own cooks, and the food was awesome. They have a nice dining room, and you can go to the dining room, or they will bring it to your room. The rooms are awesome too. It's quite expensive. The staff was very calm and always wanted to know if they could help you. They were just really, really good. They have activities. If I had the money and I could afford it, that would be my place to go. I was very satisfied."

"My grandmother is now in Princeton Transitional Care and Assisted Living, it's nice. It's newer, they offer 24-hour nursing care, and they do the meals. I liked it because it was all one price, while in a lot of places, it's like a la carte so there are a lot of different fees for different things that they do. And here, everything is already included like help with dressing, showers, and all of that stuff is all included in one price. It's not like where they'll suddenly start adding additional costs as they need additional care, so I like that option. They have different room options. She's in a studio apartment, so it's one big room and she has a nice-size bathroom that's handicap accessible, with a walk-in shower, and a nice built-in seat. And then it has a little kitchenette with almost a full-size refrigerator, they provide the refrigerator and a microwave. There's a lot of cabinet space and a little sink, it's a nice little kitchenette. All of them have windows looking either outside or into the courtyard. They also offer two rooms and stuff like that, but she's just in a studio. The staff has been very attentive and very helpful. When I call and check on her, I'll call the nurse's station, and I've always been able to get through to somebody every time I've called. The food smells and looks good but I haven't tried any of it. On Wednesday nights, they do wine and music, then they have a church service every Sunday, and they had a whole calendar of activities. They do things like cards and a lot of different stuff."

"I had several family members who stayed at this facility and received excellent care! My mom had rehab after her surgery for breast cancer and went home in better shape than she was before her surgery! My grandfather stayed there twice and loved it both times! Excellent care and healed the wounds on his legs before he left and he had them for a long time! My great aunt stayed there and received wonderful care staff kept me informed of everything that happened with them and was always kind and compassionate and I would never send my family anywhere else! "

"At first I was skeptical from reports of people that worked there, but I imagine just because a person doesn't like a job doesn't mean it provides poor service. My Grandmother seemed to enjoy her stay there. The facilities were clean and she had a very nice view out of her front window. One thing I did not like was the fact that she had to share a room with somebody else, but since she was not set to be there over two weeks, this may be how they take care of temporary stays. The staff was nice, and I was impressed with the security in place to protect the residents. Locating a nurse was not a big problem as they seemed to respond quickly to the needs of my Grandmother and the needs of her guests. They even allowed her to have a small party in the waiting room for her birthday, I was very impressed with this. If she or anybody else I care about is ever in need of these types of services, I would rest at ease if they were to be placed into this facility for any length of time. "
