My stay at Life Care was terrific! Rooms clean, food good, but most important was the compassionate care I got from all the nurses and aids. A special thanks to nurse director MARY who never failed to smile at me and give me a warm hug. I would recommend Life Care to everyone.

The reason we chose Life Care Center of Centerville is because it has a dedicated dementia unit. Their patient-staff ratio is higher than what you would normally find. Mom has not complained about the food, but I have never tried it. It is located in kind of a rural area, which is the only drawback.

My husband has been in rehab at Life Care Center of Centerville for about a month now. He's also been there before. They really need more staff. They have a lot of turnover. He gets physical therapy every day. They don't have him hooked up to machine that monitors his vitals, but they take it twice a day. They have hospital beds and almost every one of the residents is in a wheelchair. He is in a shared room. He goes to activities like Bingo and things like that. We don't have to pay because he has Medicare.

My wife is in Life Care Center of Centerville. It is a rehab type home and lockdown facility where she can be protected. We put here there because she was falling a lot and needs headgear around the clock. I think the staff is doing an excellent job. They seem to be taking care of my wife. She fell about 4 or 5 times, and they made sure that there was nothing badly wrong with her. Since then, they have been very aware of that, and she has not been having falls for the last several months.
