I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother Ed has been at Hallmark since May 24 2024. He has consistently received excellent care from their staff. The therapists continue to try to give him what he needs despite the difficulty of his case. The staff show him they care all the time. My experience with them has been 5 stars and I want to say Thank You.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom was a resident of Hallmark Healthcare Center. They had very knowledgeable and skilled nursing and they had a very knowledgeable admission person. The room she was in was kind of small. She was in a private room. It was very clean. It went off kind of like a hospital. It had different halls to it.

I am extremely pleased with Hallmark Healthcare Center. A friend of mine has been there for several years and I have visited often. I believe they do a wonderful job. I have visited in others and in comparison the rooms are a nice size for two people. The staff is cooperative and many bend over backward to be helpful. We are dealing with the Covid19 virus at this time and they initiated a "guardian angel" program using their support staff to visit residents in an effort to take the place of family visits. I appreciate the fact that staff members are compassionate not only to my friend but to me as a concerned friend. They have lots of activities available for the residents and programs where the family is invited to participate. I actually like the food. My only complaint has been with the laundry so I took her wash out. Since Covid that hasn't been possible but the laundry workers and the Guardian Angels have made sure everything has been done to her satisfaction.

This place should be closed down by DEHC , my dad was placed here by the VA for physical therapy 2 weeks ago , now he's dying . When I walked in there was a patient in a wheelchair that had thrown up on himself and all the nurse did was yell at him to go back to his room . There was feces and urine all in the hall that the staff just walked around . The halls were crowded with wheelchairs and broken beds . The food isn't fit for a dog to eat . The nursing staff is a joke . They don't monitor the patients food intake . The bathroom in the rooms need to be completely redone . Rusty pipes , no towels or way for people to really wash up . If you love the person your considering this place for . Keep looking . This places reminds me of a German prisoner of war camp.

My father was placed at Hallmark. It was pretty average, and good. The staff is alright, but I didn't get a professional feeling from them. They have a garden, and common area where they can go out and talk with other people. They have a therapy room, and a barbershop-type deal.

I visited this facility

I did not like Hallmark Healthcare Center at all. The hallway was very dark, the rooms seemed to be very dark, and it was very sterile. It just didn't look very friendly or inviting. The dining hall was kind of old-looking and very small. The desk people seemed very nice, and the administrator was moderately friendly, but I didn't really get a good feel from her.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mom is at Hallmark Health Care Center, and she likes the place a lot. She said she doesn’t mind being there. She really hasn’t complained about anything. Mom had a hip surgery, and she said that their rehab is awesome. Her room is of good size, and she shares with another lady. It’s a clean room. Mom plays bingo I think once or twice a week, and they have church on Sundays. They play music, and they all sit around and talk. At most times, the have a very well set up atmosphere for all the guests to come and join in. the place is very clean, and they have a garden section with a gazebo. It was absolutely gorgeous.

I visited this facility

I looked at Hallmark Healthcare Center and I was pleased with the accommodation of the staff. It was a very nice facility and it was nearby. I saw several people in the room doing physical therapy when I was there which was fine because that was what I am most interested in, as my mom would be needing a place to have her physical therapy.
