The Winds at Mattern Orchard Assisted Living was very well laid out, had very personable staff, and was very caring. It's just a larger facility and we wanted to go with the smaller, more homey feeling with the other facility we visited. We liked it because of the cleanliness, the personal staff's attention to our needs, and the information. They gave a lot of good information to us. They're also secluded, very quiet, have pretty outside scenery, and are very clean. They offer physical therapy, craft classes, exercise classes, and outside trips. They organize trips outside of the facility.

The Winds At Mattern Orchard Assisted Living offered the best services. It's going to be good place for my father. From what I could tell, everything was fine. The facility was very clean, and they are particular about people coming in right now. The person who took us on the tour was very accommodating, and very friendly too.

Our Mom just passed on after 3 years at the Winds. We were impressed with the continuity of and gentleness of care. The activities director is superb and keeps residents engaged. Excellent experience!

My impression of The Winds At Mattern Orchard was good. Their rooms were nice and there's also a courtyard with gardens. There are various activities the residents can do. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My husband is in The Winds at Mattern Orchard and is doing better than he was in the nursing home. He is still in a wheelchair, but they walk him quite frequently, and he has a little more independence. He is considered a level 3 care, so they have to assist him with everything except eating. I feel that I have to still provide a lot of directions, but they keep him neat, clean, and involved. They have good activities during the day Monday through Friday, and they try to keep their residents active. The place is very neat and clean, and the food is very good.

This facility like all others that seem to be popping up all over central pa. Is very large and looks like huge hotel or gold club house. Very clean and very new looking.this facility offers separate apartments for individuals to live with nurses that travel around the property depending on the individuals needs. This place was very properly looked after so was the lady we were there to see.This facility has large community rooms and dinning areas that are comparable to even the most of 5 star restaurants.The level of personal care covered by the employees here encompasses everything one could need.from ER care to dental care.bathing and transportation.The woman we visited seemed as though she live in a very wealthy private community. she had no complaint and her friends there did not either.She was very comfortable.I was very comfortable. This was the only community that i have visited of the 30 or so, that I myself would consider living in. it was that fantastic.
